Which Oakleys would you recommend?

Someone owes me a favor, and they're offering to buy me any pair of Oakleys i choose, regardless of the price. Which ones would you recommend? Here are a few that caught my eye:

Further, I had a pair of Pro M's that were friggin' amazing for driving (better than the Juliets for that purpose) but I broke the arm in in February (the Pro M's are not foldable).

I had a polarized yellow/blue-light lense that was by far the BEST driving glasses I've ever worn. They could be worn to just before late dusk and actually IMPROVED vision/clarity in all light conditions (which is something I've not found with any other glasses).

Regular M's fold - Pro M's don't.

Thanks for the info on the driving lenses RJ - been looking for a good pair to replace my misplaced ones! I personally also have the julliet frames with a green tint for everyday use. They're very nice I have to say and are comfortable though a bit weighty.

I think I have the same lense in my Juliet frames as you. Agreed - great everday glasses.

The Pro M lenses were reflective to the eye but looked yellow-ish when you wore them and blocked blue/green. I don't see them on the Oakley website (they were about 5 years old) - but I'm sure you can still order them as replacement lenses (the Pro M lenses snap in an out).

I dont see any "jacket style" on your list, but i have the SCAR's.

Great if you are active. I have had mine for 3 years now, no problems and still fit great.

I just bought Bronze Plates and I love them! Also the emerald are sick!

Hehe, friend bought Emerald Over the Tops... I think he looks like an alien.

I just picked up a pair of Zero .4 Squared (FMJ 5.56 Fire Iridium) to use while driving.

Hopefully they're as good as the ProM's I used to have. I like the fact they have a very wide view angle and not many obstructions (which is what made the ProM's great for driving).

Juliet's for my everday glasses, Zero .4 Squared for when I'm driving.

I'll let you know how they go.

Damn, i still haven't had a chance to pick some up! Gotta do this before the summer ends

Gah, Oakley's.

Posted by j_spot on Jun-25-2004 06:06:

actually with the current problems im experiencing, I would suggest staying away from a metal frame.

they bend, and getting that original curve back is a bitch. Especially when you land on your face and bend corners etc.

sure, the plastic ones may break, but htey have a lifetime warranty on them, so no need to worry right?
