Rank 1 - Such Is Life

Hello all.

I have a copy of Rank 1 - Such Is Life on vinyl with the Original Mix and Extended Version on.

But I'm after a copy without the vocals in. I have heard it and it sounds ace. Anyone know which remix I might be on about?

According to discogs these are the others out there:

Rank 1 - Many Miles Too Soon

It was (kind of) released before Such Is Life. If I heard correctly, it was released because a close friend of Benno and Piet died suddenly.. and to honour him, they released a sort of pre-version of Such Is Life, under the name Many Miles Too Soon.. which refers to the unexpected and way too soon passing of they friend..

This is what I heard/read a couple of years ago, so I'm not sure for 100%...

I'm quite sure it was never released properly on vinyl...because it never was the intension to release this pre-version of Such Is Life..

well actually, I'm starting to doubt it, I have this mp3 tagged like this and it is a very clean vocalless remix of "such is life" but indeed, no info whatsoever is to be found about this... hmmmzzzz

8:56 with clean beginning and ending, sounds very much like a vinyl-rip, quality is 128kb/s though

EDIT: I'm upping it right now, I'll post the link in a minute...That way we can ID this "sample"

If I remembered correctly there was indeed a non-vocal version of the track... I also had it a couple of years ago, but it was said it was a fake (although it sounded like Such Is Life), so I think that's the version you have and it may also be the version DJAntSmith is after..

well, now that you mention it, I been comparing to other (real & released) versions I have and it has this little "fake" sound to it... It's nice nevertheless!!

I'll leave it up for a while, that way you can get it when you're home... (btw, emailing an 8mb track is kinda hard no? I remember trying this before without luck.)

Just tried it with RJ. Doesn't work. What it does is it posts a link for you to download from and then the bloody firewall blocks it again because its like a normal download. *humpf*

Well you might as well take that track down. Looks like I'll have to find another tune that'll go with what I want. I was gonna put that before Gouryella - Walhalla. Sounds amazing! But alas no.
