Tiesto Vancouver Review
hey hey people . I just got home and wanted to be the first to say that the show was fantastic 
, I am so tired from jumping and dancing all night long but it was well worth it.
full review comming tomorrow ....
was very very drunk, but still had an awesome time.
lost my coat check ticket, but still got my coat.
was standing in the front during the end and a copy of "8 wonders - the morning after" flew into my hands, signed "Tiesto 9.6.04" (pictues hopefully to come)
I'm one happy mutherf*ker.

about 2.5 hours i think. fantastic night! i want to know ALL of those tunes he played. especially that piano/electric guitar tune from the early part of the set and also that tune with the girl chanting from the last few tunes he played!

Hey TA's, it's 7:30 & i just arrived back in Kelowna. Tiesto played a awesome set, to bad he didnt stay on longer.Anyways, im heading to bed .im bunked!
mannnn.. last night was one insane ride for sure!!!... I definetly had an amazing time. too bad the show couldnt have gone on longer!! it just wasnt long enough! 
.. oh well, everyone was in awesome spirits, also it was my first commodore party, so i was very pleased!!! 
besides the fact that i got lost in canada near the border and didn't get home till FIVE AM (normally i would have been home about 3:45)... heh, i had a good time. my energy just isn't like it used to be so i was getting very tired around the last hour, and honestly would have preferred for him to end at 2 so i could go home and sleep! instead, i witnessed many fun things like some SUPER etarded guy get all over the sound/visuals guy (whatever it is he does) and get kicked out
kind of sucked because i saw hardly anyone serge, of course, and i saw christofa again, as well as b good and one other guy that i don't remember his forum name already! way too dark to see anyone, which kind of sucked compared to other previous gold club type events.
i felt the crowd was fairly mixed as well compared to previous nights... it seemed a lot more of the sketchy plaza crowd was there fucked up out of their minds than normal, though i didn't have any bad encounters with any. people in the bathroom were being stupid, though... i almost saw one fight occur because stupid girls can't figure out what a line for the bathroom stalls are, and one girl got really pissed (rightfully so, it takes a long time to wait in the girl's bathroom). bartenders were also not so friendly, at all.
also the goddamn crepe place was closed AGAIN! .. i really wanted a crepe one last time, i LOVE that place!
got my ass slapped one time randomly, and serge got his ass grabbed once. we were going to have a tally of who got it happen to them the most, but alas, just that one time each.. haha. so random.
anyways, a fun night. good music, though a slightly weird crowd this time, and a big thumbs down for the actual amount of light/visuals. the visuals actually were really cool before tiesto got on, fun sea creatures and themes... then tiesto got on and i guess they suddenly thought "oh shit! let's make the visuals REALLY CRAPPY cause its tiesto and they wont care!", and suddenly the screen was full of "magik somethingorother" on blue shapes moving around all over the place, or cartoon people shapes moving around... OH BOY, HOW EXCITING.
I got there at around 10 30... wow even the scalpers were out of tix !! I think I saw Dovla and some of you in the lineup.
I thought the crowd sucked..... the show was OK I've definitely seen him spin better sets...
oh shit kim you got lost.......no way cause my place is like 5 minutes form the border...you just had to go the opposite way you came in......shit i feel bad now maybe my drunken directions were a tad off...
anyway tiesto was good....a tonne of wicked tunes....gl hooks ruled and the $50 for my ticket evaportaed at the bar..lol..
recogized almost every tune...but i suck with names so no id'ing

I had not as much fun as you guys as I was with the flier massive outside. I actually tried to co-ordinate a "fler package" (we shoved all the fliers into the IMF one(it was the biggest) so we just had one to hand out......the idea worked for a bit.
Some guy told me to f off because i was trying to give hima flier...sheesh where's the freaking PLUR?????????? Yeah yeah I know get with the times Mirk

I think I saw alot of you but the chaos outside was insane.....hot dog guys, panhandlers with flowerd, AGRO yelling blow and ho's....honestly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope peeps had a good time from the gist of what I was told Tiesto was not on his game but played decently and alot of older stuff..

To all of you that said I'll have an amazing time , you were right , this was the best night since I came to vancouver ... I swear the hottest female population of the ciy was there yesterday ...
Tiesto himself was awesome and the energy was amazing , the people in the front were nuts , jumping shouting yelling ... the flag and the "in my memory" poster were cool , nice touch.
the tracklist was great , I knew all the tunes but could not Id them all ...
the highligh of the night was ADAGIO for me , right before the highest moment of the tune I took 2 bottles of water and right on the beat started spraying people .... you can even see it on the video , posted above
IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING ....
I had an awsome time, good track selection good fun. Only bad part was I only got 2 hours sleep before I had to get up for work, but whatever it was worth it.
Kim I think I saw you for a second then I turned around and you were gone. Dunno if I was the guy you were talking about, I was the short white guy with blue jeans and a blue shirt.
Was a good amount of hot girls there, but all the better looking ones seemed to be with someone allready

My nice, long review.... hey it could be longer, and no, that's not what she said!
Well, well, well. Good to see everyone had an awesome night, as I did too!
First off, it was good to finally meet some TA's, Mainer,Mainerski, Dolva. I would have like to go to the front and meet up with some other TA's, but we had a good spot. I saw the flag, and knew right away you were one of us.
So yeah, the lighting was terrible, I couldn't make out anything, or anyone for that matter. So damn dark in there, what happened to the lighting?
The sound was a bit quiet too, or maybe just a bit muffled, and no, it's not just because I was high 
I would have liked to have heard the music a bit better. Everyone's naming off these tracks to me, but I couldn't tell what they were because the highs and mids were a bit low.
I think the highlight of the night for me was when he played Love Comes Again! I just loved how everybody was singing out loud to it! Screaming "Love Comes Again", I think it's great when the crowd gets into it like that.
Speaking of getting into it, where was Tiesto last night???? Last night was my 4th time seing him, and I'd have to say that Tiesto looked pretty out of it. Most of the time when I was looking up at him, there was barely a smile on his face. Of course he was having fun, especially at the end. But I've seen the man just get so into it, he doesn't want to stop either. I guess it's different when he plays at the Commodore compared to other places.
Yes, the bartenders were rude, or pissed off about something, they weren't having any fun whatsoever.
The women, woooooooooooooo weeeeee. Hot damn there were a lot of hot girls there, too bad I don't have the balls to talk to any of them.
There were alot of Tiesto posters aroubnd when the night started, I thought I'd grab 1 on the way out, but they were all fucking gone already, I was so pissed off! So when I left, I stood by a lamppost where there were posters before, and they were all gone too. But, the 1 post I decided to stand beside, still had 2 posters on it, they had just slidden down the post where no one was looking. SCORE! I was so happy to get those posters. That was almost the highlight of my night.
Dolva, so that was you spraying that water huh? THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I felt it on my back it felt damn good.
So out of the 4 times I've seen him now. This was probably the least I've liked him. I have to remind myself though, that 4 years ago he was breaking in as a DJ, now he's so much more, he do what he feels. You can't compare todays sets to 4 years ago. He stills rocks my world though
