Oliver Shine : Northstar / Southstar

I'm really loving this track atm, getting lots of plays from me
Similar in style to stephen j kroos - optimistik / phantazmz. What does everyone else think?

Great tunes, sounds refreshingly different from most of the stuff coming out trancewise nowadays.

Very hard to categorize. Somewhere between Trance, Prog Trance and Techno.

I agree. My next order of records will definetly iclude this release.

After a first listen, i'm definetly liking Northstar more.

This track sounds so refreshing..is still trance..and also manages to seperate itself from the plethora of releases available right now.
Southstar is definitely my pick..nice pumping bassline...very danceable..one of those very few songs which is repetitive and would not sound good if it wasn't.
Has a prog-ish feel to it....with a bit of tech thrown in

Northstar - 8/10
Southstar - 9/10

Yes a very nice set of tunes here, difinately gets my vinyl of the week award.

So who i behind Oliver Shine? My prediction is the same guy/s behind Scintilator - The Festival released also on Tsunami a few months back, very similar sound production wise.

Good job tho on this release, really breaks through the clutter of every day 'cookie cutter' trance.

I like "Southstar" more than "Northastar", but both these tracks are very good! They're quite different and can make You feel, react in different ways also. Good job by Oliver Shine!
