Help with Excel

Ok, here's the deal, i am making an excel book for a euro2004 dream team that me & my m8's are doing. I have entered all the individual teams into the same book, along with a league table kind of thing.

all the individual ones are fine, so the totals are updated everytime i put in data etc.. and the points total is linked to the main table page, so each time the points total changes it is automatically changed on the league table.

Now, i know how to sort the table to make the highest points scorer go top, but what i want to do, is edit the table so that it changes it automatically.

I.e - Team 1 scores no points after game 1

Team 2 scores 3 points thus moving from 2nd place to 1st place.

Is there anyway i can edit the book so it will do this automatically for me? I know it's easy just to sort it, but i want to be fancy and have it all setup automatically

you could write a macro if you know how. excel this facility along with the visual basic editor!

Hmm, i did macro's ages ago at school but i can't remember how?? Do you use msn messenger m8?
