Paul van Dyk Returns to Chicago !!!!! He's coming July 23, 2004 ... But to soundbar... which surprises me, that place is SMALL AS HECK !!! I dont know... I wish he was coming back to Vision... I'd consider flying back out to Chicago again if he was ... but soundabar ??? Hmm....

Also disappointed it's at Soundbar. I think I'll go though because my good friend has always wanted to see Paul and her birthday is the week before so it would be a good present. I'd also really like to see Jerry Bonham again so that makes the decision easier.

i wouldn't make the trip unless you had other things going on here. i'd say your trip for pvd at vision was worth it, but traveling for sound-bar isn't worth it imo. ill be in attendance though

Ya, what the hell is with soundbar trying to squeeze in a PVD size crowd? From the opinions I've heard from many honorable people that have played there...sound-bar is a joke.

eh, as long as they keep booking djs i want to see then i guess i dont have a choice but to go. i didnt think it was that bad of a club, but ive only been there once.

Well, for the time being if Pure is willing to shell out the $ then they're going to be able to draw the big names.

Eventually, if what xGirl says is true, they'll stop booking themselves @ Soundbar and probably stick w/Spundae.

We can only hope.

I actually kinda like Sound-Bar, but it has some "features" that annoy me a lot.
A. The sound system is turned up too loud...it is a great sounding system, no need to deafen people.
B. The men's room is too fuckin small.
C. That whole bottle VIP shit and no place else to rest even for a minute.

So where can I get tickets for PvD and how much they are???

The tickets should be onsale on wanttickets.com I think. Not sure if they're on sale yet or not. But keep checking back there or here.

I've tried google'ing it but can't seem to find the official soundbar club website. Anyone have details on the club besides what people are saying about how small it is? Age limits (I'm underage) and such? I'm curious to know.

21+ to get in and they seem pretty strict on it
it actually didnt seem that crowded for sasha, but then again that was on a thursday night so im sure a lot of people didnt show up.

yea you might have to do some serious travelling. i checked his upcoming dates to see if i could help you out but there aint shit even close to here. you might want to check out his site and see if anything works for you. this week hes at the guv and in new york.

Well i'm stuck in the ramada plaza that night before I leave for Japan.
I think also thinking I need to leave the states with a BANG, and pvd would be a great way to head into the sunset.

... especially since carl cox is canceled....

x-ray vision always comes in handy when working the door.

they didnt seem to concerned at sasha but i guess as long as you had tickets they didnt really care. when i saw sander there they looked my id over for a little bit. maybe things have changed.
