Two New Mixes from Me - Enjoy - gone

These two mixes were done with software (Traktor 2.0) and recorded with SoundForge. I realize the mixing still isn't as good as it should be, but I've only been doing this like once or twice a month for barely a year (school keeps one busy).

June is a bit more trancey, while The Senses is more progressive and laid back (progressive trance really). And hopefully, I've learned my lesson about bpm for the Senses mix (I know typically for sets like that I jack the bpm too much). =)

and Jan Gustafsson - Hallucination was released on Galactive (sublabel of fundamental recordings)

edit: ok, heard the mix, the intro track was weird but it gave a nice feel when banging right into the vadim zhukov remix of satellite (which is probably the only good version of the track), the rest flowed well and it was all good, cheers for the mix

Yes, the intro track is a bit funny, but as you said, it flows nicely and opens it up for the vadim mix of satellite. I like doing fun stuff like that from time to time to make mixes more interesting. Thanks for the feedback, cheers.

i am listening to the june set as i am downloading it and it is awsome. Have always liked your mixes and this one certainly doesnt disappoint. Thanks alot mate and keep up the brilliant mixing.

I've received positive feedback on both mixes, particularily the June one from different sources. Thanks to all those who have taken the time to listen and give feedback, it really is appreciated.

loved the beatmatching was v.good...transitions were cool too.

not sure 100% about track selection, try to think more about flow and progression of a set...

and also try to work on sound quality...

but great tracks, sweet mixing, just a few minors.

Sound quality probably isn't as great as it could be due to a number of technical issues, unsolved thus far by my laziness (mostly faulty wiring.. I noticed it with my audioscope that the balance is off sometimes, plus the recordings aren't top notch.. I ususally play a bit with the levels after recording to try and make the mixes more presentable).

I'm surprised to see that you've found the beatmatching to be fairly good, that's the one thing I've been working on the most. I know that and harmonics have been my weakest points by far and I've worked to bring those up.

i didn't bother posting the two new ones in the amateur forum because im just a lowly mp3/cdr mp3 dj, and don't want to detract from the real amateur talent in these boards =D
