Ayla - Angelfalls Instruments what are the names of them!
I'm trying to reproduce a midi ringtone for my Nextel Cellphone, and I'm stuck trying to find out what instruments were used in Ayla's - Angelfalls (Eternal Force Remix) song? Whats the name of that Choir singing voices in the background of the song? I have searched all over for choir, voice samples and soundfonts, with no luck of finding one that matches that sound. Its like real people singing instead of those choir samples that come in most keyboards, but what is it called man. and then Also what type of Synth was used to make the synth Melody part of the song? anyones help is much Appreciated, Im new to making music and this is my first project using Fruity Loops.

do you mean Vox maybe.......
I think the choirs are called vox.I have a few samples of them I could send if you e-mail me at [email protected] im not sure if this is what you want though as I haven't heard the song you speak of.
The lead synth in that song sounds like your typical (GOOD) detuned saws. The melodic pattern sounds like your typical (GOOD) trance arpeggios (3-3-2). The way the chorals/vocals are done in this song are amazing. Maybe it's vox like prometheus says, but maybe it's recorded as well. I love this song. Props to you for trying to reproduce it. ;-)
Wait... are you trying to recreate this tune as MIDI? Because if you are, it doesn't matter what instruments you choose, MIDI won't sound the same.
Hang on 1 second !
You have aquired fruityloops for the sol purpose of creating a ringtone for your phone !
those vox were recorded by a vocal artist/choir as has already been said.

Thanks all for the help. I was coming to my last conclusion that the choir was hired to do the sample, but then again I could of swore I heard a instrument that sounded like that before somewhere, I wish I could remember. I was hoping someone else knew about it.
I know midi doesnt sound as good as the real thing, I wanted to find that choir voice sample so I can later on use it in my songs when I produce my self some songs, its a kick ass choir/vox. Guess im gonna have to make my own instrument from that sound. besides its only for a ringtone for my Nextel i95color cellphone. The cool thing is, is that Motorola uses the Microsoft (ROLAND) General Midi instrument pack, So I can use all the instruments.
What do you mean (3-3-2) Apreggios? I am a little familiar with the apreggios, but 3-3-2? whats that? How can I set it up to sound the same as the song? I see a window that says range 3. but how can I get 3-3-2. thank.
Im glad to hear someone appreciates what im doing, its fun to play around and have fun making music. I Tried to add a sample to the thread I started, but this forum group only allows added links to websites holding samples to hear. It didnt add my sample, and I dont have any webspace to post any up. IF your Familiar to
http://www.johnsteenbergen.com then keep your eyes open for some Ayla - Angelfalls midi songs I Added to his site. I already sent him my piano cut of the song, which is different than Bren f midi posted, but doesnt have any background tunes playing with the piano part, its just the piano solo tune its self. I am half ways done with my song. So very soon I will complete it and send it to Johns website for all to listen.
well just to let you know...you actually don't have to hire a choir for that kind of stuff would be extreamly to expensive and your R.O.I.(return on investment) would be a disaster...it's called "sample cd's" hello!! there are lots of very good sample cd's of choirs out there. http://www.bestservice.de/index.asp...9p119p209&lng=3 ..try the best service sample cd's they are very good. Also some synths do have those sounds as well...but they are sample based synths like the Korg Triton...these "synths" as you know them are called workstations just FYI. I'm very disapointed in those of you who don't know this by now! nah...i'm just screwin' with ya...i really don't care.
