any addicting online games out there?

i used to play rainbow 6 rogue spear for a few years, mainly because it had a great community on MSN Zone, cant find any games anymore with such a good community

everyone mostly knew everyone, matches would happen all the time

Depends for what system. If you want for the ps2 then go with Frequency and amplitude. both good online games(well frequency you can only play if you were one of the first to get a network adaptor). but amplitude comes online ready. But Frequency has better songs(lots of electronica and a lil trance also).

I will try to explain the game. You are a ship and you blast 3 notes each note you catch will bring that instrument to a close.(you can do this by pressing square, triangle, or circle or the way of the master r1, l1, l2, or the way of the ultimate with all of them.



In that picture you are on the blue track and you will press square, triangle, circle, triangle, triangle, square. And after doing that you unlock the bass track and then it will come in a later set. Another cool thing is you can remix the songs online. The remixing is simple to use and fun. And last but not lease all of this is online.

Age Of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion.

It is an old game from 2000, but it is still an addictive game that thousands still play, and it never gets boring. It's 2d like Starcraft, and the concept is basically the same as Starcraft, but overall it's a better game than Starcraft. It's possibly a top 5 strategy game of all-time.

yea i played age of empires, online strategy games like that.. and warcraft 3.. get tiring easily for some reason

im thinkin of Guild Wars and World of Warcraft when they come out,

I dunno am addicted to America's Army.. its as close to realism as you can get from any other game. And its free since all our taxes made it 700 meg download

ya i tried it, i accidently killed some people and i was sent to jail. now i cant join most servers
screw it

tried day of defeat yesterday. umm. steam sucks lol
kept freezing and disconnecting couldnt even play 1 game

you could try star wars galaxies. maybe wait till the space expansion comes out. i left the game though because i ws just bored of it (been there since first beta). i will probably go back to it though.

also try Diablo 2(free online play and pretty addicting) or as someone already said lineage 2.

and try gunbound...i forget the website but my friend said it was decent

Enemy Territory!

FREE downloadable multiplayer only game, was supposed to be an addon for RTCW (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) but was cut, and later only the multiplayer side was released for free.

The game has 5 different classes:
- soldier: panzerfaust / flamethrower / mortar / mobile MG42
- engineer: can blow up stuff, repair stuff, place landmines
- medic: can revive dead teammates, and give them medpacks so they get back their HP
- field ops: can give ammo to others, can call in an airstrike, or artillery support
- covert ops: can throw smokegrenades, can spot mines, only class with a sniping weapon, and more

Ofcourse each class has either a colt/luger and a MP40/Thompson machinegun, depending whether you're on the Allies team or the Axis team

It isn't just brainless fragging, you need good teamplay and tactics to win a game, cause you have to complete an obj in order to win, like blow up 2 guns, steal radar parts & bring em to safety, etc... Game is based on Quake 3 engine and looks nice!

runescape is a very lengthy game, right now its just fishing, chopping down wood, mining, killing things etc

yeah i played runescape for a little to pass time during computer class. but that enemy terriotory sounds amazing. ill check it out
