When Sasha is frustrated...
....He throws records!!
Sasha hospitalises fan
"Superstar DJ Sasha has hospitalised a girl after throwing a record into a crowd at a recent gig in Cardiff. The freak accident occurred at long running club night Time Flies in the middle of a four-hour set.
Witnesses reported seeing the DJ become so frustrated with a skipping record that he threw it into the air, only for it to bounce off the roof before hitting the girl in the face. His set had to be cut short by an hour because Sasha was so distraught about the accident. However there were unconfirmed rumours that bouncers physically removed Sasha from the DJ booth after the incident.
A grave apology posted by Sasha on his website said: "I am writing to say how sorry I am about the accident that happened at my Cardiff gig on Saturday. As you have probably heard, the record I was playing kept sticking, and the third time it happened I just picked up the record and threw it up in the air. I think it must have hit the overhead bar canopy and gone forward into the crowd, where it unfortunately hit the girl."
He continued: "As soon as I realised what had happened I was completely freaked out and couldnt continue playing. I apologise to the rest of the crowd for cutting my set short, but I was too shaken. I just want to reiterate that it definitely wasnt thrown at the crowd with any kind of malice. I deeply regret causing any injury, and am desperately trying to get in touch with the girl to she how she is doing."
I'm sure it was a last time he did it...
shit happens
sasha is perfect
hopefully there's no permanent scarring.
*insert obligatory comment about 12 inches to the head here*
Such a wierd freakish accident. Too bad for the girl and the party.
But I mean come on! Who throws a record?
(Better yet, how sharp is a record?)
If that were to happen to me I would be like "sweet, a vinyl !" and I would take it home as a souvenier. I mean a vinyl couldn't do too much damage, especially since it bounced off the ceiling. I can see if it was straight on and it has a spin on it. Well if the girl was really hurt, that sucks. But you know how little accidents get exaggerated !!
whoua
even if a records doesnt seem dangerous if someone threw me one in the face i would surely feel pain
Ho shit
I dropped a record on my foot once and it really hurts. (I wasn't wearing any shoes)
I can'T imagine how a record thrown at high speed must hurt
maybe he was too hammered

I had a similar experience to Charlie, they do hurt, well it depends on the label that is selling the vinyl! but some are super thick!
When I was younger...I had a tempermental buddy of mine and he picked up some records when he was in a fit and starting whipping them around...some of them went straight into the wall and stuck there. Those things can do damage...nevermind from above. I can just imagine her looking up to see what was going on and then "whack"...right upside the head.
