How was the night? How did the Wanda Dancers work out? Was it a show? I heard it was 30 dancers... did they all just go party all night or?

It was more like 15 dancers. There was a platform runway set up down the middle of the dancefloor but didn't extend all the way to the DJ booth at the front. The dancers came out around 5 to start, and then every 30 minutes or so after that until about 7. They just sort of wavered up there in (American flag!) bikinis, holding lollipops, blowing bubbles, dancing with a hula hoop, etc. The last show had 3 couples of girls just sitting there touching each other, but it wasn't graphic and they kept their entire bikinis on the entire time. It was ok - I was expecting something a bit more raunchy though!

But on to the most important part: music! LaFleche did an amazing job of opening the night - I was exhausted, not feeling well and entirely sober when I arrived but his set was so good I couldn't help but get caught up in it! Barbara really took it up a notch and surprised me with her set. I was expecting something a little softer - more like her BeB CD. Not so! At times bordering on techno, but always keeping a deep, solid bassline, she pounded it out. My legs ached from her set the previous night, but the music became so infectious I had to move to the dancefloor!

I only recognized 2 tracks: Sneak's "fix my sink" and "Movin through your system" (Bryan Cox? I don't know my house very well.)

Unfortunately the creepy guy factor was very high on Saturday. I wasn't feeling much of a vibe at all.

Sadly I could not stick it out - that was the first time I've ever left a club while barbara's been still playing.

Oh... so it was a show! I wonder if it took away lots of dancing room. I thought the Wanda girls would actually dance around like the Benson and Hedges girls.

solid night again...spent more time sitting..absolutely exhausted from my tiesto doubleheader from thurs and fri...music was amazin...
