I listen to radio feeds from Buenos Aires all the time. Lots of dj sets and the do live to airs from huge events like the South festival and Creamfields.

X4 Buenos Aires Electronic Radio 106.7

MetroDance 95.1 Buenos Aires:

these stations are much better than anything here during the day and at night they really kick ass with various dj sets etc.

Sometimes Metro gets cheesy during the day but they also play good stuff and at night they are the best.

*cough* local stations rock *cough*

Local stations as in from Toronto?

ahahahahhahah suuuuure

Posted by AwakenedAddict on Jun-15-2004 18:21:

I would have to say that i love local toronto stations the most... maybe it's cause i'd rather hear what the resident toronto dj's are spinning, than listen to some mega-dj spin the same crap he did last week / last month / last year. If i could only listen to local dj's for the rest of my life i would still be a happy man!! The list of kick-ass local dj's on internet radio is immense

Nevertheless, i'm gonna give ur stations a whirl Jayx1

local toronto stations are great 5% of the time if you are lucky enough to listen at the wee hour of the night when they are actually playing something good.

Otherwise what are our options? Z 103? Jack FM?

What RJ is sayin is that you say there is nothing to listen to on the radio and you cite the bad RADIO stations, but mention nothing of specific internet radio stations.

My fav radio stations are proton radio and digitally imported, they play great deep house that i can get lost in at work, and be busy as a bee without realizing it

I have not tuned into FM radio (outside of my car) in years. Proton Radio, 2hp and www.eccentricbeats.com is where it's at!

Posted by ladybass on Jun-15-2004 20:05:

there are also www.club246.com

and the newly renovated www.1groove.com

HUH???

Go back and see that i gave 2 addresses for radio that can be heard over the internet.

ets-global.org is by far the best imo, only livesets

Posted by eccentricbeats on Jun-16-2004 00:59:

Eccentric Beats tries to feature both the small time DJ to the larger more familiar names.. Give it a try sometime, Monday nights have local Toronto DJ Aaron Mossey for a two hour onslaught of all things progressive...

http://www.eccentricbeats.com/showsanddjs/index.htm for a schedule for this summer...

There was no natural progression, it started out talking about an internet only radio, Proton. Same thing RJ is talking about. You turned it into something else talking about standard broadcast radio which is also broadcast over the internet. I fail to the see natural progression of this thread that you think everyone else seems to be so stupidly missing.

Posted by Jayx1 on Jun-16-2004 01:16:

You people are so bloody immature. I give radio link ideas and you turn it into some rediculous semantics debate...

whatever...
