Psytrance Bass
Which synth do most artists use to acheive that typical psytrance bass?
Thanks for the comment -.-
In this case, the synth does matter. I wouldn't exactly use the Virus C to achieve a psytrance bass sound, now would I?

DJDust, if you want some awesome sick analog bass, I'd checkout the Dave Smith Evolver. It has 2 REAL analog oscs and two digital wavetable ones, at only $500 new. http://davesmithinstruments.com/ . Hope that helps.

I'm not a psytrancer, but I've noticed that the psytrance stuff has a really unique style of bass... very very very unique, that is. And that's all I gotta say. Sorry, I really can't help you here. =(

i deleted my posts and take back everything I said.. i'm willing to admit when i'm wrong..
Old analog gear tends to be pretty popular to get those juicy basses, things like the roland juno and jupiter stuff.
Anything that can pump out a throbbing sine wave.... and remember that LFO is your friend..... real analogue synths as Cheggy says the Juno's and Jupiteresque's will fit the bill
