Don't like the way the bassline comes in in the beginning, but other than that sounds really good! Cheers!

Oh..I got a really good vibe at the start with that light pad...reminded me of something I like alot..cant put my finger on it.

I think you should lift that to the "front" of the song so to speak..make that light pad more stronger and build the track around it.

This track shows real promise, I must say im very interested in seeing where this is going. All elements are excellent, beat is real catchy, bassline groovy...my only thing is that I didnt like the synth that came in at 2.27..the melody is good, but the sound of the synth wasnt that great...but perhaps when I can hear the complete song it will fit in more.

Again, you got something great going, and please boost that light pad, loved it!!

take care,

chec again guys

i updated the sample :

beefed up the pad

added a piano

and changed the riff notes on the 3rd minut a little...

what can I say...this tune is going somewhere big...noticed that the light pad is abit stronger, but even more! hehe..Im just simple crazy about it...

cant wait for the full song so I can hear it again in the breakdown and buildup if you are having it there...Im expecting something huge now..just so you know

the added piano is a nice touch..altough when the new melody came in at 2.26 it lost "power", dont know if you lowered the volume on there? Just boost it abit..

about the change on the riff notes I cant remember how they went before, but like I said then, that particular sound you are using doesnt feel 100% right...but again, maybe it will fit when I hear the entire track.

after listening to it over and over im beginning to agree with brianbartel, it doesnt sound right when the bassline comes in so hard and loud...maybe a long fade in? or lower its intensity until the 0.36 mark and punch it up there?

Once more, this sounds to be a excellent track! PM me as soon as you have completed the entire track.

i like this track. the bassline sounds good to me, kinda adds tension to the track when everything else kicks in. everything else seems to work, like the piano and hook synth, fits the mood of the track. yep this has potential, would like to hear the full track when you finish it.

I agree, this track is really going somewhere! Great work. Come up with a killer melody to come in and you will have a sick track!!!! Great work!

The intro is a beauty, but it doesnt fit the bass + the kick comes in in a harsh way. reduce some high freqs on the kick, its painful. Nice elements in the buildup. I think that soft lead that plays three notes could use more delay and maybe some lower notes to phaten it up abit, right now its abit annoying. Overall your in a right direction its pretty nice, keep it up

Posted by DylanSwe on Jun-17-2004 13:16:

Yes, those 3 notes isnt enough..I singing additional 4-5 notes to myself but its hard to write it down in words

Duplicate the last note a couple of times..Dun-Nu-Nun-Dun-DunDunDun

or a delay line would do the trick.

but you might have this in mind when the track is completed, as a lead melody?
