sounddiver

anyone got sounddiver for cubase (pc) can I have a copy as they dont make it for the pc anymore..!?

Yeah, while this thread is going, does anyone have any copies of Logic Platinum they could give me. They don't make that for pc any more either

Seriously though, do you want the full copy or just for one synth. If its just for 1 synth, the synth manufacturer may have a copy of it for that synth only. I know Access supplies Sounddiver for the virus, but it doesn't have other synths on it.

Sounddiver was a program created by eMagic for controlling hardware, but many hardware manufacturers released one-off OEM versions just for their synth.

Here's an example of the Virus C version.

cheers cheggy, It appears I still need sounddiver itself though..anyone? just so as I dont get crap, is it still available to buy for my pc ~(cubase) ? if not how the hell do i get it without getting a copy of someone? would e-magic be at all arsed about someone giving me a copy..?

I reckon you'd have more luck with Novation than with Apple. I don't think apple could give a rats ass about a PC user.

As for what Sounddiver is, it's not really designed to control synths but rather designed as a library for hardware synths. Hard synths have a limited amount of space to store patches. Sounddiver lets you store the patches on your computer hard drive and reload them back onto your synth as you need them
