Dancing Dude Space Manouevres - Stage One (Leama & Moor Mix)

Space Manouevres - Stage One (Leama & Moor Mix)

Out now on White Label

Going to be Massive!!

Description from Hooj online store

Leama & Moor provide a slamming update to the classic 'Stage One', adding layers of new melodies, drums and plenty of deep space fx. This is gonna be big.

The sample sounds a bit disappointing, to be honest.

This remix is not very well

6/10

Posted by vishous5 on Jun-16-2004 21:56:

this has the potential of being very huge...i hope it does.

ben lost played this beauty 2 weeks ago when he was in slovenia. it sounds massive on a good soundsystem

9.5/10

The sample seems quite promising in my ears, actually. That extra melody line really gives it some drive. Waiting for this.

The original is a prog classic and I'm very curious to hear Leama's & Moor Mix, but I'm too lazy to dl the sample so I'll wait till it gets released.

Posted by Shudder on Jun-17-2004 01:35:

i think the sample sounds crappy too. hopefully a longer sample will be out somewhere else soon

Wow, Leama & Moor are churning out new releases almost every week now, I hope they can maintain the quality for each track, overexposure is never a good thing...

And the sample didn't sound that good imo, a bit of "retro" feel to it, but nothing really special...Let's hope the full version is better!

Posted by stamper on Jun-17-2004 14:19:

I can't believe people are rating this song based on a 45 second low-quality sample!!

Leama & Moor remixes are a journey, you cannot judge the remix by 45 seconds.

Shame on you.

there's also an ambient mix that l&m are working on - heard a work in progress the other day - sounds nothing like the original apart from use of some of the fx but good non-the-less. My main gripe is that it's probably all been done before with the track. There were like a hundred different mixes of this when it was originally release and while it will always remain a classic track imo, I'm not so sure if anything 'new' can be added. Well - I wait to hear the complete remixes and be proved wrong

i agree. it doesn't sound that different from anything that's already been done. i must admit that i thought that an update of this could be great, but this is not what i had in mind...

IMO.. there isnt much to do with this song.. the original was top notch. this could just be a personal edit for themselves that leaked. the point i'm tryin to make is there isnt much new you could do with this song. you could.. but perhaps producers really dont wanna risk it. you're remixin a classic and dont want me people to think you destroyed it. u just wanna add somethin new to it (which the new remixes have succeeded in doin most of the time.)

Posted by skip on Jul-03-2004 19:49:

nice remix! i like this! but then again it doesn't really bring anything new as this track has already been remixed to death, but still it's a nice version and IMO a lot better than the much overhyped orkidea remix for example!
but i still do prefer the separation mix the most with tilt's apollo 11 mix coming in second! IMO they should put all the mixes there are of this track on like 4 cds and release a 4 cd maxi cd single of this!
