HI I just baught a new mixer Vastax pro 275 And when i put the neddle on the record it makes a poping noise. I have two Numark TT 1625 an the cartridges i use are Stanton Track master 11 So Why does it pop when you put the needle on the record ? Or sometimes I hear a high hisning sound .

LMFAO omg are you serious hahah its because theres nothing on the first part of the vinyl then when the music starts there is and no pops because theres information there and not just empty grooves that the needles poping through or maybe you should make sure the needle is accutaly on the vinyl and not just scratching the side of the vinyl :P lol

Well first, you need to stay in school. Jk.

It can be a couple of things. I would check the condition of the stylus and make sure it's clean, next, i would also clean any dust that has collected on your records b/c that may also cause pops and clicks. Next if all else fails, try to use some form of static remover/protecter like gruv gilde. Above all, i doubt it's your mixer.

i just find it sad that some of the high school graduates i attended school w/ couldn't read or write at a high school level. I bet a few can't even read 5th grade level books.
