Pics will come soon

Got there around 11pm.........Opening DJ wasn't that good, then Tiesto came on at 12:30am with a kickass opener. The system at Eleven50 sounded a little crappy, highs and mids didn't sound good at all. But Tiesto did a great job, he throw in a couple of classics. NO trainwrecks were spot!!!! Very energetic throughout the set and the crowd was really into it (a very good vibe)

James Holden & Julie Thompson- Nothing (Returing 93 Mix)

Tiesto was alright.... from the outside!!!!!!! I was standing outside in the rain for two and a half hours! Blarg! But LeeAnn came out and saved me. I was soaked and dried twice!

But that's okay, because we all just got wasted at Scott's instead!

Scott's wearing an orange shirt, trying to fold a poster, Genny is sipping on her drink and Javier is behind me trying to rape me!

Tiesto showed us hard!

Those of you who missed this should be ashamed of yourselves. The line for the place was crazy! I went outside toward the end and still there was a line around the corner! Tiesto inside took over from a sub par resident -(who fixed himself by the end!) Hitting us all straight off with External Key was a great start and he literally had the crowd in his hand - apart from the brief spell where he mixed out of Dallas 4am and seemed to go to sleep for the next 30 mins.

Some top tunes over the whole night - Traffic got the largest reception with everyone stomping away like crazy - Phantom Manor - tore it up too. Personal favourites for me were -

Whiteroom
Nyana
Nothing (Returning 93 mix)
Love comes again - not the greatest but still a big sing a long
Walking on Clouds
Traffic (Montana edit)

Got a lot more than I was expecting from this night - No trainwrecks - well one to be fair!

Glad you all had fun,... hopefully i can make it to see him tonight in Dallas and to play as good a set as this one

Amazing party! The tracklisting IMO was very well done. The system was banging on the lower dance floor and the hot sweaty girlies were everywhere. I love those nights at eleven50. The lines outside were terrible, I feel bad for everybody who didn't get in. I know a couple of my friends were left stranded out there.
Incredible night! I love it..

Woah LMAO

what the hell was wrong with me last night?
I dont remember writing that!

Anywayz- last night was pretty damn good. I saw many friends and had a lot of good times. Straight off the plane and kickin it ATL TA style. Thats the way it should be.

good party, great pre- and after party.

I dont really remember much of the tracks...i was teh buzzing. ALl i remember is dancing my ass off- like it should be

Tiesto OWNED all night. When i heard White Room get dropped in I went nuts. Def my fav track right now AND i got to hear it blasted from the speakers right in front of me with the trance-god himself standing a few feet above me!!! Ahhh bliss...

PLUS...I GOT MY COPY OF "JUST BE" SIGNED BY TIESTO!!!!! That made my night. I didn't care about the vinyls, i just wanted my personalized copy of the album. I love trance DJ's so much. That kind of shit never happens when you go to a rock concert! (granted Incubus puts on one hell of a show )

But i'd have to say I did a very good job last night considering i willingly removed myself from the club. PvD...good times... HHHWWWWHHHHAAAAATTTTTT?????

Now i've got Rise 2 to look forward too and Lea Ann's b-day Too bad im gonna be in west virginia all next week and I am going to miss Sasha and the festivities in Central Park. C'est la vie.

I had a great night at the Tiesto show, but eleven50 was way to small for the crowd! I could hardly move my feet!!! I tried to go down to the main dance floor, but I am too small, I was nearly smothered. Note to Liquified: eleven50 is too small for big parties!

Posted by jellilorum on Jun-17-2004 21:09:

Unhappy

Oh! What time did Tiesto stop spinning? My ride wanted to leave around 2:45 because he had to work the next day

Where would you suggest Tiesto, PvD, Armin and the like play? Certainly not Philips Arena....
Piedmont park until 3am would be pretty sweet though but the city would NEVER allow that unfortunately.

Posted by jellilorum on Jun-18-2004 00:33:

I say we take over Mama's Country Showcase, lol. They have a massive dance floor.

Posted by Scottaculous on Jun-18-2004 00:59:

I had fun at Tiesto. Heard some familiar tunes. Nothing really stood out. The place was packed and the dance floor was so hot. What really made the night was all the great people I shared it with. There are so many! The pre-party was a huge success as was the after-party. We used up an entire lighter during the after-party. LOL!!!

Special shoutouts to Peachy & Sara for the long roadtrip. I hope the trip was worth it.

Great meeting all the new TAs. All the usual suspects were there and I think everyone had a memorable time!

Congrats to Jordan and Dan for getting signed Tiesto records!

He stopped not too long after that. I would say around 2:50. Tiesto got pissed off when he was mobbed after the show.

That makes me feel better ... I did not miss too much.

Where were you at the club? All the TAs where in the very front of the stage for a while and then we moved to the bottom section below Tiesto. A few of us had orange t-shirts.

Posted by jellilorum on Jun-18-2004 01:47:

Yes, I was at the show and I did see quite a few people in orange! I could never make it to where they were at though. I did meet someone from Holland in the parking lot on the way out because he was wearing orange, lol. He turned out not to be from TA board, but very cool guy all the same.

It's good to see a new Atlanta TA posting. Welcome to the boards. Perhaps you would like to introduce yourself?

Posted by jellilorum on Jun-18-2004 02:16:

Is there somewhere in particular where you are supposed to do that? Or something in particular people like to know?

Anyway, I am Natalie! I am 25. I live a little east of downtown (about five miles from the site of a recent large chemical fire). I am currently on summer break from school at ASC in Decatur.

I have been following the ATL scene since around 1994. My girls and I go out just about every weekend no one place in particular.

Oh my goodness, that sucks you guys did not get in. I feel bad, small venue?
