hmmm 11,000 student debt

im winning so far

Posted by DJAntSmith on Jun-17-2004 11:13:

I don't think student debt's should count. You pay that back over the course of your employment history only when you earn a certain amount. When you have credit cards and such they make you pay every month or they come after you and mke you pay even more then stick you in jail.

(covers eyes and prepares for copious amounts of student flaming)

ya student load dont count..got something thats up ur ass everymonth? man...this sux*_*

Posted by Elior on Jun-17-2004 12:42:

well...

6$ for "end of the year party"
32$ for eyebrow piercing (soon..i hope)
and that's it for now

Hmmm, debt on your creditcard is like 20-30% intrest here I believe. Of course mine is locked so I can never go below zero When you can't afford something, don't buy it..
Student debts is something else tho.

So far I think people owe me 50 or something. And I just remember, I'm in debt for 11 to some friend.

That's a bunch of crap. Sometimes credit card debt cannot be avoided. What if you need emergency servicing done to your car that is out of your control? Not everyone has a few grand lying round for situations like this.

Having said that, though. my 5k to the credit card could have been avoided, but I just had to go shopping.

Posted by DJ E-s*it on Jun-17-2004 15:21:

liability coverage doesnt have the tow track, rental car service...you have to pay extra and not everyone got extrz money to spend..

Posted by DJ E-s*it on Jun-17-2004 15:24:

does any of you made any big change in order to pay them off? like dont go out anymore.... less party, eat cheap food? cause i have not ate any GOOOD food for a while and dat sux, LOL

also, rent killed half of my pay check a month...err...

insurance doesn't cover servicing your car. That's just silly. If it did I'd get an oil change every week!

Insurance does not cover tires, transmissions, or say, a new engine or something else that your warranty doesn't cover... or if your warranty is expired.

Duh?

About 4000 on car and insurance

Posted by Sean Walsh on Jun-17-2004 18:34:

$3700 credit cards
$1300 to my mom
~$500 to my girlfriend
$13000 student loans

If I don't find a job within the next 2 weeks I'm fucked =P

Posted by StereoPrincess on Jun-17-2004 18:59:

debt is bad.

i have so much debt that i don't even wanna think about it.

3,000 creditcard
18,000 line of credit
1,500 insurance
2,500 fucked up debt from fucking roomates that fucked my house up.
35,000 student loan

but, seriously i'm still a student. once a job comes around you can start paying off slowly and there you go. i mean i pay my monthly bills and that's all that counts. if you got no credit, good luck getting a new car or a house.

I lost my soul to the devil in a card game.

Posted by .montecarlo. on Jun-17-2004 19:41:

$20,000 student loan
$1,400 credit card
$500 speeding tickets
on top of monthly expenses ~ $1,500

oh well
