The first event is this saturday the 19th of June. Headliner is Felix Da Housecat, and some other locals as openners. I just might stop by to see how they did with the place since i was scouting its innerds before construction

How exactly are you planning to "Stop by"

Last time I checked on an opening night of a new super hyped club you can hardly get in as it is

i've yet to find one person that can tell me the difference between the antoine clamaran remix of make your move, and the original mx of stupidisco.

I was there by fluke on thursday...was walking by and some chick at the door thought we came from inside and told us that we need to get a hand stamp if we want to get back in LOL. So anyways, the club itself looks AMAZING inside, probably nicest in the whole city, but i think its way too big for TO. They had an open bar all night which was insane and they were playing sick prog all over the place. Too many bay street people though, but i'll definetly end up there soon!

I think that's the target crowd they were aiming for though

I heard the last 2 nights have been tumbleweed city at Lucid. Let's hope tonight does well.

I do think their plan of putting 3000 people a night from wed-sun is a bit unrealistic though. This is Toronto, not Europe. People here barely go out on weekends anymore let alone during the week.

Its sad but its the truth.

yeah...and it seems like they are aiming for to a house crowd rather than trance...

i took a look around the club when i went there to drop off a demo and it looked like a really nice club to me.

Im going to try and get over there next week to have a look. I like the idea and the concept from what i hear. If they can get 3000 people a night i will personally fly to england and shake the hand of the owner and congratulate him on finally getting Torontonians off the couch and on the dance floor on a week night.

Although i was quite shocked when Guv was able to do this for tiesto i must say.

Toronto still has a lot of untapped potential i think. We need to get the general populace energized again thats all.

I hope to check it out some time. After all these years and feeling close to retirement, i doubt ill change my venue. MO & GUV.
