Eurolite Record Case

Have any of you had any experience using the Eurolite Record cases (the ones that are transparent). I wanted to get that clear one, but everywhere I go for the most part has them discontinued.

Was it because they were crap?

Well I dunno about this case, but I do know alot of CLEAR record cases don't have much padding inside because of them being clear, so maybe they stopped because they weren't as popular or as good as the rest.

if you're going to go with a flight case don't go with the clear ones
because they're clear they don't have any padding inside and are useless comapred to the solid ones with padding inside

It's not about looks when it comes to flight cases. Granted, you want your case to look sharp. But I would rather pay more for a case that keeps the dust away, and my vinyl in tip-top condition rather than one that looks sweet but doesn't actually serve the real purpose of a flight case - to keep your records mint.

it depends...

How are you going to be using them? Primarily for storage? Will they only see an occassional trip from your floor to the car to the gig? If so, they should suffice. Anything more, I'd go for a traditional-style flight case.

Go with metal or very hard plastic like SKB cases.
