Tiësto & Markus Schulz @ Space review
First off let me start by saying it's a safe gamble that I'm the first one home, and with good reason. The following line that I'm about to say is unlike me unless something's up, and, SOMETHING'S UP. Space was packed tighter than a virgin's TWAT. No room to move, breathe, dance. Some people managed, I didn't. I drank a tiny flask of Disaronno Amaretto and that buzzed me for like a record 5 MINUTES. I had some Red Bulls earlier but that didn't do much. Markus tore it up as always. He closed his set with Satelite. (NO COMMENT.) Tiësto played some hard tracks. It was mixed ok, lots of different stuff. Not bad, but I just couldn't enjoy myself tonight. This easily goes down as the WORST party experience of my entire existence, WITH the obvious exception of the music and meeting with you guys, of course.
Ambs: Great hanging with you again. 
Amber: What you told me in there meant a lot to me, thank you. And propps to you for pushing that kuntrag scumfuck off the platform. You PWNED that piece of shit. 
The Orlando Crew: Didn't say too much to you guys but was glad to see you again.
Rach and Katie: You guys were hot, and I mean that LITERALLY. The heat musta gotten to you two...
Bling: Cool shirt, hehehe.
Damon: You mofo, you said you weren't coming, but you did. Now the question is, do you regret it, since we were human sardines in that fuckin' place? In any case, good to see you again, bro, and thx for the swig of Red Bull.
Art: didn't get to say hi to ya. 
Harold: Didn't get to say too much to ya either, but it was good to see you as well.
Stan and Heather: Happy birthday to you both! Ambs' homemade card was really nice, and I was only too happy to sign it.
Ryan and Brian: Great to see you guys again, I had fun chillin with you. I hope you post those pics and videos soon, Brian. I only wish I coulda been in some pics....

Melissa and Ben: Good to see you showed up, but NOT good Ben when you almost caused me to fall over.
I swear I musta gotten hit on my head like 20 times. Can't believe I don't have a fractured skull after all those hits.
Felipe & Jose: Good to see you guys again.
Ian: i saw ya but by that time, I was already in such a lousy mood, I didn't bother to introduce myself or say hello. Nothing personal against you or anything. Glad to see you got in. Better late than never.
If I left anyone out, forgive me but my night was just godfuckin awful as I already explained. Hopefully the rest of you guys can add some positive reviews to the night, but for now, I think I'll play some games involving some graphic violence to calm my nerves.
Oh and one more thing:
Luis Puig, get your head out of your fuckin' ass and don't oversell tickets again, you dumb son of a bitch. And while you're at it, hire Markus back on as a resident and business will boom. If tonight wasn't proof of that, I don't know what the fuck is.
Final Edit (I HOPE) Ambs and Amber: Thanks to you both for the kind text messages you sent me while on my way home and when I got home. I was perfectly sober by the time I got into my car, so no worries, you two. You guys just made my personal closest fav. TA's list, although I'm sure you know who else is on that list....she's also one of the main reasons I didn't have much fun....

well, minus the whole feeling like a sardine i must say my friends and I had a blast!!! markus rocked and tiesto was awesome. My throbbing feet are the proof!!! I'm just happy because i went to my first after hours @ space .. (only 19 ;\ )

Markus was the best I've ever seen him and Tiesto was out of this world. But I must agree with Dark Angel the crowd was out of hand!!!!!!!!!!! None the less, I met Bling that was cool and spotted a few others that looked familiar. Awesome night despite the 5 or 6 ciggerate burns, lol.
O and $6 for water that obviously cost them 10 cents - now that's rape

tijs set was ok,,, best highlight was 'nyana' as usual,,, and a couple of dutch trancers. i loved largo live wow,,, i thought i was going to die from jumpin he he he. irony sounded amazing too... THE BASSLINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great seeing all of you ! and many thanks to the ones that hung with us in the booth until the end we had the best time really!!!! he he... i even took a 40 mins powernap

majorly disappointed...with space and tiesto. i think i liked maybe 3 songs at the most. his set reminded me of a ferry corsten set from 99 or 2000....cheese. and it was waaay too crowded...with a bunch of cracked out kids (at least by me). was it 18+? ugghh i really cannot stand space. i probably left before any of you. we took off at 3 cuz my bf had to work this morning and i have an apointment in an hour to go have an MRI scan of my back done, so we cut it short (i didn't mind).
i only got to hear the end of markus's set....i bet i would have really enjoyed his more! got to say hi to him a little later on when we passed each other through the crowd.
and arturo, good to see you as always..sorry it was brief but i was with a bunch of ppl and they all wanted to walk around and find a better spot.
ian: lol nice text messaging all night! sorry we didnt get to meet up, i wasn't getting good service inside. i ended up leaving and turning my phone off and i got all your texts this morning.

i think i liked that first song that tiesto mixed from markus's last song...before that pole folder song (i think it was pole folder). i dunno. i give it a 3.
Its 915 and i just got home.... its been a 11 hr party for me. it was a privilege and honor to hang with so many TA's
The nite began very well. The presale line went very quick. I got to meet Hyperion from Clubplanet right in line....... Outside i meet up with Feli and Darkangel and Ambs. We head on inside and of course the main room is closed. Markus is already inside warming up the main room.
When who do I see but Mr Damon. WTFFFFFFFFFFF u talk so much shit and then u come to Space to party with the teenie boppers. ur a markusoite like the rest of us LOL
Funny moment of the nite. I call up Edgar V and first i say sorry for missing his first gig at crobar since his residency began. Then i tell him "bro u cant believe but Damon is here. he sold u out" He laughed then i put damon on the phone. and he tells him to play "Breathing" LOL
Finally the main room opens and we commadeer the front platforms. Inside it was great to see Rachel,Tranceman,Felipe,breakinbeats, VTec, MJM420,Miriam, Katie, Arturo, Harold,Trancebrat,Happykandy(Melissa.. the best dancer ever. had fun dancing with ya, Jeskot (great to meet u sweetie. hope to see ya again soon) and of course Heather. And some CPers and CJ crew as well like Levelistic,Miss CrzyC, Jennice, Doug and Maribel and POD
Before I forget, Happy birthday Heather hope u liked our birthday card and cake OMG did u die? it was great talkin to you. and i just want to thank you and Markus for everything over the past year. It was awesome spending your birthday with you.
Markus Set
Amazing set .... My fav tracks in his opener were of course.......
1. MY FAV TRACK -ARMIN'S "BURNED WITH DESIRE" (OMFG I DIED)
2. Satellite
3. Clear Blue
4. Largo
Markus flawless in his mixing as always. At this point, Heather comes up to me and says OMG so funny this guy asked me if that was tiesto up on the decks .LMAO!!!! Someone obviously doesnt know crap about djs . oh well he should join TA.. to be schooled.
The place was disgusting slammed packed. I HAVE NEVER IN MY FREAKIN LIFE SEEN IT LIKE THIS. I was shoved around like a rag doll in that place. So i decide to go up to the platform with the TA's. and we get doused with the smoke blasts........... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh massive cooldown
Tiesto Set
His WMC set was Epic, tonite was just great. IT was a great set we got to hear lots of the best Tiesto tracks. But it just didnt have that flow like his set at conference.
AT some points the bass was so high that it was hard to hear him mix from one song into the next

3. White Room (as requested by Ambs ) on a piece of paper. and what did markus do. he played it as his next track...... sweetttttttt
Amazing set. He played nasty nasty stuff that only Markus can throw down. We were all dancing in the booth at times, while at other times we were resting on the couch.
At around 8 am the crew guys at space asked me "HOw many times did u die?" I lost count!!!
Great seeing everyone who came from Orlando, and as far as New York to come to hear markus and tiesto tonite. Love ya all........ ur all a bunch of trance whores LOL

You guys complain that Space is pack, when is Space NOT pack (espeically when Tiesto is in town)? I could imagine Space was not as bad as Magik Musik night during WMC.
More tracklist anyone? how was Tiesto technical wise??
btw....I got a phone call from Cynthia last night, I think she intend to leave me a voicemail when Tiesto was playing but the task wasn't accomplish

OKis so finally. Here's my review.
I get to Space @ around 10, drink some in my car with my friend before heading out, and about 3 red bulls heh. God it worked!!!! hehehe.. While going to get the tickets I step and see first one to see is Feli( MIL GRACIASSS x el CD!!!!! FOR REAL! thx!!!!!!!!!! ), then getting the tickets was a breeze, and getting in as well. VIP style.
When I got in, I hear Markus spinning, we were all still trapped in that one room, waiting to go inside the main. There I find Ambs, Raul, Bling, Harold.. and someone saying that he was not coming heh.. DAMON, to add it all up, sucking a Lollipop heh. I kid bro.. nice seen ya there! Then The Orlando Crew joins, PAtrick, james.. and as soon as that, they open the main room and we all ran to try on taking over the podium!!! hahaha.. WE TRIED!
Markus.... All I got to say is that he was raping it off BAAAAAD!!!!! God he was on fire, awesome set!!! he had me dieing track after track!!!.. the night seemed as if it was all his, I totally forgot about Tiesto hehehehe.. The best opening set I have ever HEARD! truly. Then Tiesto comes, and getting that smoke blasts wowwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 everyone that was on the platform knows what Im talking about hehehehehehe..
I must admit that it got to a point that EVERY single soul seemed to try getting on it.. he, I JUST COULDNT MOVEE!! it became a challenge, but was still able to dance my ass off he. To my opinion, Tiesto was awesome, I didnt see him in the WMC, so I take this as the best set Ive seen from him ( comapred to those in Ultra that are the only ones Ive seen, and the 4th of July one ). Tiesto dropped some old OOOLDD classics, a remake of them I think?...mixing wise, I didnt hear trainwrecks he, a lot of bass though!! .. Love Comes again, and traffic. gosh.. A tear in the open. I almost cried! lol.
I truly died though, I danced so much for Markus that by the time Tiesto came on, I only tried to survive his set. And Markus closing.. OMFGG killer after killer again, starting with Sahara, and playing WHITEROOM! ( Tiesto did NOT PLAY it grr ) But Markus was there to make us all
It was great meeting and hanging out with all of you TA's!!!.
It was nice to see Ambs ( It was soooo sweeet of you to make that greeting card, and sorry for hitting you!! I still say you jumped hehehe ;-) ) . Raul ! ( Bro sucks you had a bad time.. Trancebratt aka Amber ( Nice meeting ya, and trust me I tried not getting pushed tours you hehe .. did you really push that guy?!? hahaha He FLEW off!! lol ). And finally Markus!.. You OWNED space!! hehe.. like 3 people came up to me to ask me if you were Tiesto ( when closing for him ). And Heather, I hope you enjoyed your B-Day!

I hope nights like this will happen again and better, without the sardine style crowd lol.

Ok here is my review...
Got there at 10:15 or so...got in, went in the little room. Time passes, got into the big room and quickly ran to the stage in front of the DJ booth...that was my santuary...stayed there the whole night...listened to Markus' entire beginning set...Markus was awesome!! It was actually my first time seeing him live...great track selection+flawless mixing=great DJ! Tiësto's set was great as well...played all new shit...was kind of upset he didn't play Dream Machine. 
At one point I confused Any Given Day with it because I was really looking forward to it...whatever... Tiësto did tear it up buuuut one thing...I disliked his interaction with the crowd...big no-no in my book...maybe he was tired or had a bad day but I personally didn't like it...The only time I think he had some interaction was when all these people started chanting "Tiësto!" That just shows he is full of himself and is extremely egotistical. I am not trying to bash on him because he spun an awesome set but it's not the only thing that counts in my book.
Markus on the other hand had wonderful interaction and tore it up! I stayed even after Tiësto left to hear some of Markus' afterhours set...all I can say is WHITE ROOM...and I wasn't lost thanks to bobba again for sending me the file!
What a great night...my ears are still ringing...I left the club around 7:45...got home, slept...up now...still tired.
Didn't meet that many people that I was supposed to but did meet Bobba...BTW it was nice seeing you!

slylee just sounds like you got stummped by the vast amount of ID's in his set.....besides that, I could not hear his mixing for he does not know how to EQ the sound system at space. He needs some training ont that ASAP. I could not hear some of the transitions due to so much damm BASS...oh well, I did expect much out of it...
Mr M. Schulz, Thanks for the woderfull memories of what was the best afterhours party in histoty. It was a sad moment ur last track. Wish you the best with the begining leg of your tour this thursday...Godskitchen is about to be taken by a Hurricane(hehe, play it there, they will cream themselves)

i got the sweetest call from Cynthia this morning saying that they missed me and it was nice to get an after party call where i could actually hear words instead of the usual "woo",... i wish i could have been smushed with all you there,... PvD in 2 weeks!!
