Jinxed! Car broken into

Well well well

I'm supposed to be moving today .... and of ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL days my car got broken into last night

Peski thiefs wanted the cd player ..... it's not the end of the world I guess
But the twats ripped out the whole center dash board ( with heater controls ) so that's going to cost me a TON

And they also went through my cds and decided which ones were better to leave behind ( like jazz and classical cds )
Oh and a checkbook ( must call bank! )

To top it off this isn't my vehicule; It belongs to my parents. I'm not even supposed to be driving it actually. My own car broke down 2 months ago and I haven't had the money to fix it since and the parents are out of the country a couple months so I was using their car as a backup.

Update :

I apparently had brought in my cds last night as well as my check book so not as much as I thought was stolen

My CD player was robbed out of my car a few weeks back. No point claming on the insurance because the excess will equal the same as a CD player (in my case anyway), and your insurance premium will go up next time.

At least your cd's and checkbook didn't get stolen. Imagine how much of a nightmare it would be if they were listening to your dance music and writing checks from your account. I know that would piss me off royal.

That's rough...one of my friends had gotten an MP3 CD player for Christmas and got it stolen the day after it was installed, and it was the second time her car'd been broken into in like two weeks.
