why it's supposed to be 'BEST' essential mix in 2001? why there are no any others 'best' EMs?

It was voted best essential out of a list of 6 in a poll that year, so Sander got an award for it. Muzik Mag Award Winner, dave clarke won one for 2000.

I can't remember which ones, Sander Kleinenberg's was my fave from that year, closely followed by Tom Middleton's May 2001 one.

I still play Tom's to this day. I remember him playing Cosmos - Take me with you and i was going nuts lol
