Sasha @ Dallas, Liquid (June 26)

Ok ppl.

listen up. We got Sasha visiting texas next weekend. The gig will be on Liquid, same place it was for tiesto.
This place gets crowded and also very hot, but if the music is good one can handle to forget the heat and party. I'll be buying my ticket in the next coulple of days.

I was wondering if there was some ppl around that will make it to this gig.

I just saw him tonight here in Baltimore. He tore the crowd a new a-hole. I'm sure you guys will have a great time. ..and he spun records and thankfully didn't use any shitty laptop!!!

a couple of us are comming from houston to the show, dallas is your town man. set it up, set it up.

ok fellow TAs.
As Daydreamer puts it, Dallas is my home town. But i don't know ppl at clubs like some of you guys.
I do have an apartment, a good sound system and my setup (cdj denom 2500f and a gemini mixer).
So a pre-party with some good music, a couple of joints and some beer is what i have in mind.

This is this saturday, so if we can have something planed ahead can be a very good idea..

i guess that we should start a roll call for this gig..

well looking forward to meeting all you guys.. i'll head back to my xbox to continue an 8 person HALO game

i'm still thinking about his set last night here in baltimore...my ears are still ringing...those of you still undecided about going, check out the nyc boards talking about his sets....fucken unbelievable! if it's the last thing you do, make sure to be there...i haven't seen a crowd so into the music since checking out oakenfold back in 2000 in detroit....i figure it won't be much different in texas!

last time we went to dallas for pvd we left the hotel around 11ish so we wouldnt be charged another day.

just so you know the layout of club seven is as follows. You walk in and slightly to your left is a HUGE round bar with two narrow aisle to take you all the way into the inside. If you can some how make it all the way through there you're in the middle of the dancefloor (which is not very big at all but this is where the sound hits the best, and lord does it hit!). to your left and right are some booths to sit in like lounges I guess, and directly in front of you would be sasha and the DJ booth, which btw the DJ booth is amazing! I don't know if they're going to let you, but usually you can climb up on the boxes and look over to see what's going and you're basically face to face with whoever is playing. Then there are two doorways to your left and right. If you walk through there you enter another room that has no DJ, but is filled with lounges and plenty of room for people who want to talk without having to scream over a loud system.

So if you want to experience the whole night with sasha, fight to stay in the main room with the dancefloor. Once you go into the other room you're pretty much going to be stuck there.

Just a little FYI for you guys.

you know whats fukked up?....i bought vip tix to the sasha gig cause i thought it was going to be at liquid...and the last time i was at liquid was for the PVD concert.....and man did it get hot as hell....
so i spend a lil more this time to make sure we have a good time...and they move it to a smaller place...and it probably dosent even matter if its vip or not..im guessing i wasted my money.
I'm still really looking forward to it...i like the smaller settings as compared to the fiasco at tiesto....lol....Armin van buuren was off the hook..havent been to a better show yet!

i like smaller places also, it gives the dj better understanding of the crowd. But 7 is very small and not very confortable when a lot of people are packed inside. On the other hand, the sound is amazing.

i'm still thinking if going or not..
