Armin Rocked it last night here in Houston

dropped alot of his stuff and alot of tiesto, and stuff off tiesto's playlists. He dropped the oakenfold remix of Born slippy which I thought was kind of strange ( given the direction his set was going) but none the less a rocking time! When he played that "no one on earth" track people went crazy... I keep forgetting who makes that track

Above and Beyond

He did the same shit in Denver on friday night, no flow whatsoever to his set, almost as if he was just randomly picking out tracks he played Nu-NRG - Free Fall into a remix of 4 Strings - Into the Night into A&B - No one on Earth (G&D Remix) into Tiesto - Adagio for Strings. He also played Oakie's remix of Born Slippy which was random as hell too. . .

Yeah he also threw Born Slippy.NUXX (Oakenfold Remix) into his set here a few weeks ago.

Completely out of nowhere.

yeah there was also ALOT of jesus christ poses from him too. This was my first time seeing armin live and I'm not complaining, I had a good time, it just felt like there wasnt a progression or flow to his set. But he sure looked like he was having fun which made everyone else in turn enjoy themselves as well

armin is "GOD"
seriously speaking, hes a great DJ and loves communicating with the crowd throughout his set... thats what makes him so great.

Sounds a bit Paul Oakenfold-esque.

people just love to deny that... I think they have a similar style, way different structure though.

but the fact that armin doesnt have his own style is going to keep him from being good.

ive seen him 3 times, and it seems like hes a lost dog trying to find his way home.

He will go from a prog track, to a trance track, to a house track, to
quote:
Nu-NRG - Free Fall into a remix of 4 Strings - Into the Night into A&B - No one on Earth (G&D Remix) into Tiesto - Adagio for Strings.
then maby play some mark norman, then play Burned with desire, then 1998. Just doesnt make any sence at all.

Then people praise armin for playing prog/house/trance/hard trance, even if it is all placed randomly all over.

When i said Oakenfold-esque, i was just talking about the God pose though.

I have never seen Armin live, so i can't really comment about his skills.
