Deep Dish @ Crobar

Hey guys,

Did anybody go to this? I went and stayed the entire night. Saw no other TA's - not even partyhopper! but the vibe was great and Deep Dish played unexpectedly. They played a hard, bass heavy, electro set. The only song I recognized that was their own was Flashdance which they played early on.

I was there!! up front and front left dancin away most of the night. I thought they totally rocked it and my first time seeing someone try out the dvd turntable live. . . THAT WASSSS CRAZYYYY. Sharam needs to practice it a bit though. . .took him a while.

Cool! I was up front to the right - how ironic. I didn't know they had DVD turntables - are you sure? How did you find this out? Crobar's been renovating their soundsystem and lighting. The new light system is suppose to be up in about a month. The new Dynasound stacks are sweet! This has been an anthem weekend - Sasha on Friday, DD on Saturday. Now I'm looking forward to Paul

Rumour has it John Digweed is suppose to play Crobar on August 27. I hope this is true!

near the end when sharam seemed like he was strugglin . . . .

well, he was adding in the effect that sounded like a locomotive. It started alllll the way in the back and rumbled to the front using surround sound. It was like being in a movie theatre. I was standing on the left side so i heard it go from side to side.

DVD turntables allow you to play music and effect with surround sound capability and mix video as well
