Why scotland aren't at euro 2004!

Because we have an idiot for a coach.

In the national tabloid today here in scotland they had an interview with vogts which was assessing our chances of making world cup 2006.

As you all know italy are in the scottish group and the main part of the interview was centred around the subject of italy's weaknesses. I was expecting to read things about their tempremant (which I did) and their missed chances in the euro competition(which I did). But I nearly fell off my seat crying with laughter when he said Italy's main weakness was the centre back pairing of nesta and cannavaro.

How can a man expect to be taken seriously when he makes such moronic statements. Does he not actually watch the game that is unfolding in front of his very eyes. Now I know italy have been poor in the tournament and are more than likely going out before the group stages, but imo nesta and cannavaro are the most sound back pair in the world without a shadow of a doubt.

but the saturday before the 6-0 defeat he was the man, so is he shite because he lost it with 6-0 of did Holland had a great day and did they change the starting line-up so that the team would perform better against Scotland...

i dunno if he changed anything (knowing him he probly changed everything) and ive always thought he is a liability. the most sence he has made is saying we need to involve our young players in our league more to break them through.

yes but you could at least pick the best of the shit to have a fighting chance! better that than to field a squad of no hopers and basicly lied down and take it.

just for the record the scotish U21 squad got further than england this year the kids are good but they dont develope into quality as they dont get big games to evolve.
