Who would you like to see playing??

Artist, djs, live acts.... that you would like to see playing

Make your personnal list with artist names and genres....

who knows.... your wish could come true

Realistic possibilities are more then welcome....

If you wish it happen...dont gimme line-ups with 10 djs that cost more then 30000$ US

thanks in advance

i personnaly think your opinion counts

house producers like:
slater hogan, john larner, jt donaldson, lance desardi, brett johnson, dan x, justin long, jason hodges, kaskade, lawnchair generals, east coast boogiement, jacob london, swirl people, freaks (justin harris/luke solomon) etc.. and of course derrick carter, but ive been very spoiled lately so i wont ask. but more derrick is always better. and mark farina. hes playing next week at upper, but hes always better at aria

Above & Beyond came to MTL last year, and like 50 ppl showed up at the party, it was in September 2003

i would love to see Lange spin live. acctually he will be here in NYC next month but in a low key venue. but lange in ARIA would kick some serious ars... if aria gets him i will def. make my way up there. and from what i hear, he's not too expensive to book.

I bet no one went because the party was uber-sketch like most raves. How did the party go in Quebec City the day before? I agree they (well, Jono Grant would be the only one DJing) wouldnt draw a huge crowd since theyve never played in Montreal at a suitable venue. They still top my list of acts to see regardless.

Above & Beyond
Lange
Pulser
Ronski Speed
Precision
Nu NRG
Matt Hardwick
Scott Bond (hes been to Aria before, but Im including him anyway)

Of course, these guys arent as well known as the dutch connection, but Ive seen more obscure names from other genres playing at Aria recently. Might be time to go with some fresh talent in the trance genre.

And would it kill Aria to maybe book a trance DJ to open or close for a headlining trance DJ? Im not saying have a whole night of trance, but more than 3 hours would be cool. I always seem to hear the same tracks whenever I hear the residents play, hehe.

Fuck, are you serious? I gotta find out how much he is, hehehe. Might have room for him in Ottawa if he comes at the right price. Thanks for the heads up.

[edit] just checked his website...its in 3 weeks, not enough time, DAMN! Next time....next time... [/edit]

There's no shortage of djs I'd like to see make their way to these parts.. mostly because there's not a lot of 'fresh' names that get booked.. anywayz.. I'd say none of these DJ's would be a draw, but I bet they are mo$tly quite affordable:

Henrik B (sweden) - hasn't been here since Sona 2001
actually... if they spin techno and they are swedish.. odds are I would have them on this list.. is there such a thing as a crappy swedish dj? and for the record.. even if he was born there, I don't consider christian smith to be 'swedish' in this context.
so.. hardcell, hertz, von hofsten, cari lekebusch & joel mull (long overdue here) anyway.. you get the idea.

Deetron (switzerland)he and tobias von hofsten tore shit up at Movement last month in Detroit.. and in NYC

Dj Murphy (brazil)

Marko Nastic (serbia) he has some 'travel' restrictions though, according to Archetype, his booking agency

Surgeon (UK)

Gayle San (Signapore - based in Spain I think) - my fav. lady techno dj.. Raul.. how did you forget her?? :P

Speaking of females... DJ Lucca (Czech) & Ladida (Czech) would be worth checking out, both are total eye candy for you boyz also.

Andreas Kauffelt (germany) - a Chris Liebing protg.. 'nuff said

Cristian Varela (spain) I have been wanting to see this guy for YEARS.. he played at a Ray Junior party a few year's ago I think.

Tom Hades (Belgium) live pa

Terry Mullan (US) ya ya.. he got busted for DUI and can't cross the border.. but I still want to see him.

Rabbit in the Moon (US)live act.. not sure how it would work in a club.. but it'd be frickin dope.

these are some off the top of my head... odds that I will see any of them anytime soon.. 75-1.
ah well.

There's a few djs that should be booked from that agency

Add Junior jack to my list, as well as Eddie Amador.

Oh.. I almost forgot Space DJz..
listened to a set of theirs the other day, it had been awhile!

I missed their sets @ Aria & Arrival. I'd settle for Long or Bissmire individually, but it'd dope to see both.
same odds as my others.. so.. not gonna happen!
