Looks like you got your pimping Nomad Jukebox (or something of that flavor) hooked up to your rocking Kenwood floorshakers, rock on man. :P

Oh, and yes, I am a 'high-end audio' professional. You can count on that.

Posted by bmw7 on Jun-22-2004 08:19:

ok then sounds nice, do you have pictures and specs of your setup?

Posted by postman on Jun-22-2004 15:15:

great setup with the 5.1 surround system and all, but where's the real high end stuff ?

Posted by jdat on Jun-22-2004 15:26:

humm surely you must be joking if you believe this to be HIGH END ?

Kenwood is far from being high end or anywhere near audiophile.

An all integrated amp and cd player is another big no no.

You're barely getting started in that world :P

I personaly want to get into high end A/V more, I own so many dvds, it's a bit of a pain watching them on a crappy 13 incher.

Real dutch high end is on the links i gave you ** in the start post,

and why do you not post some pictures by yourselfses instead of saying words

there's consumer junk... "high end" hooplah... and pro audio gear.

Posted by postman on Jun-22-2004 20:31:

basicly i call stuff like those JBL cabinets pro audio, and stuff for the real audiophile high-end audio.

for example :

just look at the pics for the non-dutchies :P

"audiophiles" make me laugh!

most "audiophile" gear is simply hyped-up consumer gear, with a massivly high price tag and inflated specifications!

True true :P

which is why the real hardcore audiophiles build the stuff themselves! Now that rocks

Posted by MERiDiAN5i2 on Jun-25-2004 20:10:

right... very true!

i really wish I had a good workshop :| i'd love to build some stuff, but nowhere to do so!

Posted by Psiweaver on Jun-27-2004 06:37:

Ya most audiophile gear is all about gear not about the actual sounds you can hear. Since we can't hear a lot of the frequencies that they advertise as covering on the high end stuff.

haha! lol! high end!

http://members.lycos.nl/richievink/hf/000_0191.JPG

if a creative speaker is high end then i'm jesus. all the other too stuff looked not at all high end to me.

Posted by MERiDiAN5i2 on Jul-05-2004 19:18:

just to make up for that...

Yorkville U15 with the unity 4-driver 300-20000hz horn.

Ok, I have no clue what I'm looking at here but it definitely ain't high end (maybe it's the name Kenwood that I see or maybe it's just all of the plastic). Was K-Mart having a special?
