Question Electro set recommendations??

You all know the sound, but who the fuck are the dj's?

Felix da housecat?
Miss Kittin?
Tiga?
(neo) Sven?

HELP ME, I KNOW NOTHING OF ELECTRO SETS!

I was typing small b/c I was trying to avoid offending anyone here by redirecting you to tribe

tribe is like the anti-christ around here

i dunno many pure electro deejays, but Dave Clarke spins a lot of electro. why not check him out?

Posted by mot10n on Jun-22-2004 04:36:

dave clarke - world service disc 02

that whole cd blows my mind.

and sven vath - live @ timewarp 2004. pretty interesting the stuff he spins.

Fabric 15 Mixed By Craig Richards (basically Lee Burridge & Craig Richards are electro freeeeks!)
anything by Anthony Rother, Dave Clarke, Sven Vath...but check out the Fabric cd and if you want more electro from it i suggest you use the tracklist from the CD

but on a less euro note

try vitalic

Posted by exergo on Jun-23-2004 09:55:

TIGA - american gigalo
Felix Da Housecat - anything, this man rules!
Mis Kitten - good shit

and there are a few dope mtl dj's
jordan dare, mini, akufen

Electro eh? good choice.dave clarke is essential. as is vitalic who also goes by dima and onurb. also check out vitalic with al ferox.
there is tons of good electro out there. gigolo records (run by dj hell has a huge repetoire of electro productions. www.djhell.com (if memory serves right) provides a list with links to many electro-ish djs. legowelt, mount sims, fischerspooner (who should have a new album out shortly), steve bug, anthony rother, terrence fixmer, chicks on speed, bolz bolz, alter ego have all produced some stellar tracks. but once again, clarke and vitalic are tops. vitalic (dima, onurb) will melt you.

Posted by exergo on Jun-27-2004 08:38:

i'm confused how people consider dave clarke electro...last time i saw him in 2002 he played pure techno........maybe i associate more with the electrclash stuff, but still he was just banging
