i truly believe that sharam & dubfire was smoking crack when doing this track, why the hell do you wann remake the flashdance theme, it's so gay it not even funny, the track itself is not good at all. this is what happens when you want to go into a more poppy sound

so this is a remake?
who made the original?

Posted by Electronicapo1 on Jun-23-2004 06:46:

Awfull tune right here... im not a big fan of deep dish productions to begin with and this is just bad... maybe they should spend the time in the studio, in the clubs djing, cause they r good at that.

it's a remake of the Irene Cara's "Flashdance. . .What A Feeling" which was the theme which was produced originally by giorgio moroder in 1983

I'm not the biggest Deep Dish fan when it comes to productions but mostly they're ok. This sucks though...

Posted by Floorfiller on Jun-23-2004 18:33:

flashdance is a good movie hehehe...don't know about this though

Posted by Shudder on Jun-24-2004 03:35:

its actually quite catchy. just prefer it without the vocals

Not a fan of this track or Deep Dish sorry DD fans just not feeling them.

sounded fucking amazing when Dave Seaman played it at renaissance
wouldn't play it myself though

By no means there best work but i must say it has grown on me. I didn't like it originally but then i heard it in a decent soundsystem and the bassline sounded class. Would love to hear it in a club, would be good warm up tune as the energy levels start to pick up.

My thoughts exactly.

This isn't really all that new... white labels have been floating around awhile.

i love it...sounds even better in a club...
i heard max graham drop it here in panama and the crowd went insane!

I`m a big deepdish fan but this is utter gash

Posted by A.J. on Aug-18-2004 16:11:

I give it a 5/10 - not good, not bad, just average.

To be honest, there isn't anything that makes the track stand out for me. I find it a bit boring after a while.

Posted by ga11agher on Aug-18-2004 21:49:

ain't that bad - just ain't that great either - think this would sound good on a nice sound system maybe as a warmup track

Posted by edmond on Aug-19-2004 02:00:

Didnt like the track all

There were just a few moments of good sounds on the 2004 remake.

when first hearing this i was expecting more but when i played it a few times it grew on me, heard its ripping the dance floors in ibiza this summer and i can understand why, the bassline is just crazy and the guitar is smooth with that catchy squeaky sound, cant wait to go insane when DeepDish drop it next week in ibiza!!

this tune is meant to be heard at a club not on your headphones or your small speakers my advise hear it at a club or on a good sound system believe me you would change your mind.

Posted by Ghostface on Aug-19-2004 04:52:

Absolute rubbish. I can see why people like it though.

I allways liked the stuff by Deep Dish, they've produced many great records in the past, so it's annoying that this tune sucks. This break with the shitty electric guitar is so awful. Hate this house-style with E-Guitars like Mogwai, Moonbootica, Tocadisco.
SuckS!!!!

just wanted to let you guys know that if you think the original was good you should listen to the david guetta remix!...bassline, break, vocals, guitars, everything sounds better....
deep dish played this remix near the end of their great essential mix last month...

The Hoxton Whores remix rocks IMO.

Posted by MekkaFIN on Sep-27-2004 18:09:

Nice tune!

Love the Skylark remix. Original is nothing special IMHO.
