Dealing with a situation here (please excuse the ignorance)

Ok, so I uhhhh got caught having sex with my significant other. Her father walked in, saw us and said "You could have at least told me you were home". He then went back to bed. Mind us, we came in at around 2 a.m. after dealing with a friend's health matter at the hospital. So yeah, she's a bit nervous and I'm trying to figure out ways to deal with this situation.

Only thing I can think up is to apologize for this, and try to make things better. Do you guys have anything worthy that might be of use for me?

apologize to who? your significant other? or her father?

if it's to your sig other, i'm not sure what you would apologize for. for being loud? getting caught? or for the distress that it now causes her? if she has anxiety about this issue (which would make sense to have), maybe you should ask her what you can do to help. i don't know if this would be the best move, but i would ask her how i could help the situation and relieve some tension. afterall, she's the one that has to go home and see him at the end of the day, and deal with awkwardness.

if it's to her father, you should definitely ask her if you should first. she'll know her father's reaction best if you decide to approach him. if you don't consult her first you could unintentionally be making the situation worse for her, or the both of you.

i got caught with my last girlfriend by her mom. her mom is korean so she is pretty strict about stuff like that. she was telling her stuff like i don't want to ever see you again. i felt really bad.

what eventually happened was that her mom realised that i wasn't going anywhere and that i wasn't using her daughter and shit so i think she eventually started to get over it. that and my girlfriend told her we stopped having sex hehehe...

rather tell him that your intentions with his daughter are good and you think shes a wonderful girl and you never EVER want to hurt her. You arent sure exactly where the relationship is going, but you two have reached a certain level of intimacy and you think its good and healthy and you are protecting yourself against possible bad outcomes of your actions.

that will tell him "im not just bangin some slut im with your daughter whom i want to protect, and speaking of protection, im using it"

depends on how old you are, and how confident you are in your relationship with this girl.

there isnt much to do.
Dad will talk to daughter, and you will get glares from Dad next time you go around her place.
If you are really brave, commited and older, you could talk to Dad yourself, but his is risky, and you may end up getting thrown out of the house.
I dont know too many dads who like to hear about how you care about their daughter, so its ok that you are porking her.

Well from what I understood her father seemed to be okay with it, she's the one who was worried..so its just a matter of telling her that these things happen and its not like you tried to do anything wrong.. The worse that could happen is if her father wouldve considered that has a lack of respect towards him or her parents in general.. but like I said that doesnt seem to be the case so I wouldnt worry.. Not much you couldve done about it besides making her understand its an honest mistake and you need to move on.. Now everything seems ok, good for you

something similar happen to me and my ex, her mother overhead us doing it and she got pissed off at me, she still is after a year but heh she wont wanna talk it out so screw that... we all make mistakes at one point, we just have to learn not to do them again..
