Blank & Jones - Flowtation (Neotune Remix) - Full, 192 kbps download
Hi guys,
Have been working on this remix lately. Was supposed to send it in for the Blank & Jones Remix competition, but I couldn't finish it in time. Maybe I have to give the EQ another look, but the melody is coming out of my nose now.. so maybe another time. Already satisfied with the result, hope you like it too.

hey m8
i love the pads, the piano, really awsome
the kick isnt right though, i dunno how to explain, maybe it just needs to be stronger, like yours is going bom bom bom
it should go boom boom boom, the kick should be longer i geuss, also clap is too quiet maybe because the main melody at around 4 minutes or so is loud so its covering that...
other than that its perfect
definatly keeping this one
thanx for the share
peace out
Thnks man for listening. I'll keep it in mind when I have another look at it. Made the kick myself, so I need to improve that!
Cheers!
thats what i heard
u always make ur own stuff
i give u respect for that
other than that, u suck
j/k
This could be HUGE! Love, love, love, LOVE the piano
My suggestions are to make the kick more powerful and to add more highs, percs etc.
Thanks Shadow. I think the percs are at the back a bit because of the lead synth..
Cheers
i LOVE this track immensely!!!Gonna play this on Friday for the 2nd Birthday show for sure!!!!!I cant hear any problems with it myself and the piano is beautiful!!MORE!

the beat is great
the hihats are too sharp i think
make them a little softer
awesome sounds at the start
love those melos
bass is also awesome
the kick is good but a you should make him fatter
didnt like clap.. too sharp.. you should give the claps more power and make them fatter
piano is nice... dont like his sounds..
string is great
the break is too long
k the melody is coming
dont like this sounds
not sounds very professional..
and also her notes are kinda simple.. you know.. nothing special
overall its a great track but you could make him alot more better
Well mate i must say im impressed! Overall im digging it and i love it.
The kick is rather weak or something like ron said. The break could use a sub string or so, because its abit thin. The lead is nice but seems like it lacks resonance, did you over filter it maybe? FX is fucking quality
. Ummm some transitions needs to be softer. Like the one after the leads fades, the problem is that it just dissapears.
Good job, liked that piano and pad sound.
Roger out.
Thanks a lot guys for reviewing and comments, they help me a lot getting rid of the bugs in music.
Keep m coming
Cheers

jay..remove the blank and crap melody, and make your own 1, and make a new pads maybe?
call it an orignal, coz the beat is great.
also ya your perc are sharp, but i tend to hear that alot in FL productions..
LOL tnks Massive.
Yeh i don't really get "smooth" sound over my percs, they are pretty sharp and crisp instead. What can I do...... (except for cutting the highs, but that's almost equal to lowering volume of percs..)

This is brilliant - I wish that I'd stuck out making my own bassdrums - it's no wonder your exams have struggled mate, you've been studying the real sh*t!!!!
Impressed for a self made bassdrum. FX are nice, really hear you're getting confident with stereo separation. Love the overwhelming constant note through. Piano is very non-amateur. Bassline is perfect. Want to compliment for your filtered percussion at 2 mins, it works a treat!
Clap is very lacking though, of all the parts of this, it seems to be hiding in the mix, bring that sucker out!! Get a better one, been listening to some Subsphere stuff and he makes no bones about his claps, I recommend you do this. Jay, this is awesome. It's got a real sense of space to this man on all sides, you can really tell you've put the hours in.
sometimes I feel being honest on forums puts you at a disadvantage but *"% it, I feel this mate, I can see your effort and skill in this and love it. Bassdrum still could be better, I just got other peoples kicks and stopped spending time on them cos I couldn't be arsed. To be honest though, despite the compliment I said earlier your kick could do with more low end presence on it. Just grab someone elses or put some more low end on your kick cos this is so encouraging to see! You are not the man you started this forum to be.
All I can say is I hear your dedication and study in this track and want to just say it's paying off man, keep going!!

i really love this mate, piano is great, im actually a fan of the melody.
what the previous guy said about the clap, id like to hear it more prominent.
but is it cool if i play this???
Thanks BassAngel, I totally agree about the improvement since January, it's quite.. huge hehe.
Fact is, it still lacks, I know. I hope I can bring more fullness in the bass/kick and all, without them sounging muddy and all. Just a matter of time and practice.
Great replies. Thanks.
Btw..
HOLLAND, HOLLAND!!!!! WOOOOHOOO NEXT ROUND YEAH,
awesome jay. really got my attention this time with this remix. as bassangel said, you've really improved mate!
Thanks mate!
