Hi! Total trance n00b needs help with a song!

I was on a trip with some friends and one guy had a trance CD mix that was mixed into one track and there was this one song on there that I really enjoyed.

It shouldn't be that hard for you guys but I'm totally stumped.

It was a female singing and the gist of the song was a girl who's friends were telling her that she needed to cut her man go because he wasn't treating her right.

I know somewhere in the chorus it ends with her saying something like..

"I sit all alone in the dark without you..
(something something) I'd rather be with you..."

Great song. Hopefully it's not hard at all for you guys, cause I really wanna get my hands on it.

No, sadly. I went to Google and checked out the lyrics for it, and it didn't match up to what I remember. Thanks anyway though.

This is really driving me crazy! Isn't it your responsibility if you have a mix CD and you play it, to know what the tracks are in case THOSE who have to listen to it might wanna know?

Do the vocals go like this?

"Friends! Tell me I'm crazy that I'm wasting time with you!....
..Friends seem to always listen to the bad things that you do!
You never do that to me!"

If they do, the tune should be "Just be good to me". But there are many artists using those vocals.

except for sit is stand.. im sure another song wouldnt have those vocals.. unless its a cover.. which i doubt
