here's what i'd pick:

buffon

cocu - laursen - r. carvalho - edman

poborsky - ballack - lampard - c. ronaldo

rooney - van nistelrooy

eventual substitutes:

Buffon - Why?? I prefer Ricardo
Cocu - Horrible mistake against the Czechs and yellow card against Germany
Silvestre - Made 2 fouls --> penalty's and the goal made by Swiss was his foul too!

I agree with v. Nistelrooy, Baros, Rooney, Cristiano, Gronkjaer, Lampard and Laursen.

Other good players this tournament are: NEDVED!!!, ZIDANE!!!! Nesta, Andrade, Tomasson, Verpakovskis

I will make my favourite team after the final!!!!

Come on, he is good for the Letland team, but when you compare him with any other striker he isn't that good. I don't even think that a topteam would consider having him on the team...

you are the craziest man on earth! buffon made three awesome games and is deservedly known as the best goalie in the world while ricardo only had to do 3 or 4 saves during the whole tournament and is known in portugal by being the most unpredictable player of our team.

ballack has impressed me a lot, he's like in a godlike form compared to the rest of the german team. haven't seen french games with atention but zidane seemed to play poorly apart from the goals.

about cocu and silvestre: i haven't being paying much atention to defenders, they just gave me the quick impression that they're playing good, so might've made stupid choices, heh

and yeah the team should be made at the end of the tournament, just felt like doing it now for some reason

heinz was very involved in their 3-2 win over Holland do, i hope he will play against denmark. he played good beside the freekick agianst germany too.

yeah if youve seen what hes done when hes been on the field, like marc dawn said, youll see hes been good.
