DJMart.com

im lookin to buy a pair of brand new 1200mk5s. most shops i've looked at such decks.co.uk and djstore.co.uk price techs @ ruffly 400 / TT. On djmart.com they are listed as $500 / TT which is ruffly 270!! whats the catch? is djmart.com second hand merchandise??

second question: if i do infact buy the techs off djmart.com will i have any trouble using them in the UK since i assume djmart is an american company?

No catch as far as I'm aware of

You have to understand that electronics are much cheaper in the usa then in britain + you have an exchange rate that's greatly in your favor right now.

Only problems you could possibly run into are shipping costs and customs from the post if they tax the package.

Everything on djmart is brand new. Its just cheaper here. Also, if you talk to DJ Tranz on TA, he could get you a discount on them.

thnx for clearing that up. was soo shocked to see em that cheap lol!

so there'll be no trouble using american electronics in UK no?

doubt it, the only thing I think you will have to worry about is converting the voltage to 220, and Im pretty sure the Techs come with the attachment.

DJ Tranz (a member here) is an empoyee of djmart.com. DJmart.com is probably one of the most respected stores for gear. Your definitely safe ordering from them PM DJ Tranz if you want info straight from the source

I can vouch for DJMart as well . . . I've ordered from them on a few separate occasions and it's always been a good experience. I would definitely do your business with them, as they are a reputable shop and there are so many shady ones out there (123dj.com, hollywooddj.com, etc.) you want to stay away from.

Thank You and thank you everyone for great feedback and awesome comments. I'm very glad I am able to help out fellow tranceaddicts. There are many new great things coming to our new E-Store. We are changing our name from DJMART to ProAudioAmerica, so our new website will be www.proaudioamerica.com as of July 6th, 2004. We are going to be carrying quite a few more brands of High End Professional Audio Equipment, Like Genelec, EAW, MIDAS, Korg, MOTU, and many more. djmart.com website will not go away, we haven't decided what to do with it yet, if we finish our new site b4 july 6th, djmart.com website will automatically redirect to the new site, www.proaudioamerica.com. We are very excited about this new venture for us and our business. Stay Tuned.

Cheers..
