TA meetup @ WEMF

Hey everyone, I'm not normally in the Eastern Canada forum, I live out on the west coast. But I'm making my way to WEMF this year and was lookin around to see if anyone has posted a meeting spot or anything for everyone here. Like I said, I'm travelling a fair distance to be there and I'm really not going to know anyone, and would love to meet up with some TA's out there and party with you guys. There is already a meeting spot for people on the WEMF site which I'll probably hook up with, but what's everyone saying here? Did I miss the thread or something? I thought everyone would be all over this

Other msgboard/sites have already started planing their meetup spots. If you are new to wemf the camgrounds can be huge and finding people is not always an easy task. I recomend making a large flag or banner as well as using an object to designate your territory so that people can find it easily. I have seen everything from giant blow up dolls to a 6' statue of liberty used as a landmark.

last year me and a few other ta buddies of mine went and were hoping to find some other ta's ....didnt work out, we just couldnt find em

so this year im thinking of maybe a banner or a sign like original vibe said so that other ta's can find and talk with us if they want

im more than happy to welcome ppl to come find us and say hi or whatever....i really havent thought too much of a meeting spot yet, maybe later as the date for wemf draws closer =)

I guess this looks like a perfect opportunity to finally meet some TA's. Been part of this too long and i have never once tried to meet anyone. Altough it may be hard to find, i will try and keep a good look out for any TA's.

We did have a (hand made) banner mounted to the side of a van last yr at WEMF in a very noticeable area. those of us who were camped by it all signed the bedsheet, and over the course of the weekend, would find other TA's sigs added to it.

Maybe Swamper can have a professional vinyl banner made for us this year? (hint hint)

I think the people that already know a lot of people should have nice T-Shirts with tranceaddict on them (hint, hint) and when others see the T-Shirts they will know where we are.

Definately a good idea! The DCM's (Destiny Community Members)are organizing a Crew Picture... Wondering what my fellow TOTA's thought about this?

Yeah I have it, I hope to Make a new one for this year. It hangs in my room and everyone is like WTF is that! lol.

Im gonna make a new one anyways, but we need to post a Map (someone got a map of the facilities?) and then pick a general spot. Dont want to walk around for 3 hours like last year

Yeah, it was crazy trying to find campsites last year, it was like a maze. Looks pretty straightforward this year, just looks like there won't be many shady spots to rest under.

Drew, what's the word man? Keep me posted, my hopes are high we can party again!

A map will be available soon. You can also find maps in the July edition of Klublife as it features a WEMF pull out - preprogram guide

So that's what the banner is from ! At times on webcam it looks like newbie grafiti spray painted on your wall ! lol

I am also heading to WEMF this yr, if a couple of friends bail on me, I will be looking to party with some people, i've already met some of you, so it shouldnt be too hard to spot you guys. hehe Front row center, screaming and hollering!!
