I just picked up 4 Strings-Turn it Around(4 Strings vocal mix) now thats a bitch to mix out of.

Kane - Rain Down on Me (tiesto mix) is a pain in the arse to mix out of.

Also his mix of Southern Sun.. at least on the vinyl I got, misses a beat at the beginning, only you don't notice until a minute or so into the track

These 2 give me trouble sometimes

The Digital Blonde - Electra
M.I.K.E. vs. John 00 Fleming - Icecream (JooF remix)

OH another thing which really gets on my tits.. tracks which change speed everso slightly halfway through... Witness of Wonder - Emotion in Motion is a prime example of this, altho it might just be my vinyl. get it beatmatched perfectly and when it comes to mixing out of it it's all over the place.. grr

Mixing out of it is easy, but mixing into it is the one that is a pain in the ass. I've yet to find a way that sounds good.

Most Junkie XL tracks are a bitch to mix in, they always seem to have the sort of intros you can only really use to begin a set with. Of course mixing them mid-set won't be impossible if you're a skilled DJ unlike me

mixing into expander and out of wavy gravy.

Mixing into D-Note - Shed My Skin (Mr. Sam Remix)

Even I have beatmatched it perfectly, I screw up the mix

Posted by Laughingfennec on Jun-25-2004 16:08:

cindy laser - the man i'd die for (atlantis ITA remix) (the end of the track)

mixing into xpander is actually really easy. i know way you think its hard at the moment because it sounds hard to mix, but keep practicing...you'll get it and then think...god i'm an ass...this is so easy heheheh...

Posted by PEZ68 on Jun-25-2004 16:24:

rank 1 - breathing (push remix)
tiesto - traffic (original)

Theses two are hard to mix without breaking the flow into the set.

Tillmann Uhrmacher - On the Run (PPK Remix)

If you download the MP3 and listen to it, it doesn't sound that hard, but the version I have on vinyl is slightly different because the structure of the track was altered to fit on the record.

Posted by R.j. on Jun-25-2004 17:49:

wow, didnt know there was such thing as a ppk remix of "on the run". thought u downloaded a mislabled mp3; checked discogs, n there is such remix.

anyways, all breakbeats

i find a lot of push tracks hard to mix... specifically strange world, and legacy, i mean obviously it anit the beat matching cos thats a piece of piss, they just are hard to blend.
strange world always sounds dodgy wether you whack it straight in or fade in, very hard to seemlessly mix. and as for legacy i dunno what it is, but the intro always fucks with my ears.. the intro sounds more like an outro, dunno if thats it or what
