Monkey Dancer 2 what ya guys think bout Street Spirit Remix

There's this remix by Paul Okenfold of Radiohead's song Street Spirit (AKA Fade Out).

Is this track released yet?

I heard it on a Tiesto liveset, and I couldnt find it any where, anyone know where I can get a copy or is willing to trade with me?

The one Tiesto plays is his own remix. I think some dodgy whitelabels went out last year (after a CDR was stolen from Cor Finjeman (however the fuck you spell it)) so a rip might exist somewhere.

Paul Oakenfold never did a remix. There was another old mix (Wonky vs Radiohead - Street Spirit) which Oakenfold used to play alot though. I think it's the Tiesto mix you're talking about though.

Welcome to 5 years ago.. But the version you will have heard in Tiesto's set is Tiesto's own mix, which to my knowledge will not see a release as Radiohead's label will not allow it.

Tiesto's remix...I happen to love it! DJ Mikey Mike is correct...it will never be released.

If Tiesto wanted to he could always white label his mix out, same as Wonky's was.

I would've thought if you were someone as prestigious a DJ/producer as him though you wouldn't want to take the chances.

Hm. I just had a thought. What if he already planned to do that... and the stealing of Cor's CDR last year was all a setup... hmm interesting

I believe Cor just misplaced it and then later found it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Rofl... I never heard that.

Lol. No matter how old that news was it's made my night, haha

so djs are allowed to first remix a song and play it in there mixes and THEN ask for permission from the original artist for releasing it?

shouldnt permission had been granted from radiohead BEFORE the mix was even made?

thats f!@#-ed up, making a nice remix like that and not be able to release it...lol

I asked tiesto and he says the label wouldn't allow him to release it. So i asked him why not give it out freely He says he doesn't want to get sued although he says it'll probably be bootlegged soon i.e. release on whites

Tisto's remix is better than the Wonky version, but both aren't too great.

A quick note, Tisto did drop the Wonky version a few years back in a couple of his sets. So he might've heard it from those, as well.
