alright, two weeks went by, and I think i'm ready to record a mix. Here's my setup.

2 numark tt-200's hooked into a numark 3000x mixer... I'm goin a little ghetto style, I hooked up the mixer into my line-in jack of my soundcard... it's like an rca to headphone jack adapter type deal... I'm using nero wave editor to record the mix (it don't sound too great but at least everyone will get the picture)

so I'm just wondering if there's a better (freeware) sound recording proggie to use, or if maybe the rca-to-headphone jack type deal isn't the best idea to use to connect to my pc.

and how do I post my mix on the forums anyways? thanks

I use Harddiskogg . It's a very small program that produces OGG files. A mix of 1 hour takes about 50Mb whitch fits perfectly on the webspace of my provider...

The RCA -> phonejack wire is the only way to record your mix with a regular soundcard. I don't see why there should be a problem with it, it works perfectly

You can't POST your mixes here, you need a webspace and here you can post the link to your mix. You cant actually upload entire mixes here
