Can anyone help me get hold of 3 specific CD covers? :)

I'd love to hear from anyone who would be able to provide me with reasonably high res scanned images of covers for the following CDs:

Ministry of Sound: The Annual IV
Tranceformer (not 2000)

...and a Slinky album which, from my research on the net seems not to have anything else in the title other than 'Slinky'. Here's a helpful link straight to a low res pic of the cover and a full tracklisting. www.discogs.com/release/70138

I have checked on various CD cover sites already and done a search at www.mega-search.com with no luck there. Help would be appreciated

What, you didn't get any covers with the albums? Odd...

I wish i could pull off sarcasm in another language......

We had a Swedish exchange student come to our school for a year in year 11 and he could not understand it at all. It was pretty funny at the time.

Hey, take your choice from the following:

- My dog ate the original covers
- I want to make duplicates to play in my car and I like to know what I'm listening to
- I bought the originals, copied them to CDRs and then returned the originals
- I downloaded the albums from Kazaa and burned them to CDRs

of course i have, but i don't join a board for one month, make a handful of posts and then ask for materials which are illeagal (yes covers are illegal to) in a forum which is meant for discussing music. idiot.

Thanks for pointing that out, I like to make the most of the space on my CDRs. I don't think that the length of my membership is in any way relevant to the request I made. I'm aware that covers are as illegal as downloaded music, but as I have already said if the topic is that controversial then it's up to the moderators to deal with it accordingly.

no, i wont, im standing up for TA. If discussion of downloading illegal copies of music etc is discussed on thsi forum TA could be closed down. TA does not support file sharing or anything related i imagine. I'm trying to shwo anyone who may be monitorign this that we (TA) are against it and don't want to encourage it.

You may be totally genuine with your reasons but lets face it, the chances are unlikely.

Anyway, there's a really simple solution if you want the covers that bad yourself, requirign a little more effort. You've already mentioned it in your second post of this topic, (point 3)- think about it, i'm not going to spell it out anymore.

Just to add illegal stuff is bad for the site, since advertisers dont like it, and thus they withdraw their support for the site.

Dude, I did not start this thread to piss people off or to get into unproductive arguments with people about how great or how diabolical file sharing is. I said in my initial post that I have made an effort to search on a lot CD cover sites to find what I'm after, in an pre-emptive attempt to diffuse any potential rows. Apparently that wasn't enough. It also appears to me that these sites (which are just as illegal as p2p) cater for people requiring CD covers a lot better than file sharing applications, which is why I have not used them.

I am not going to discuss how genuine I am excect to say that I have been a big fan of trance for a number of years now (even though I have only recently signed up to TA) and I DO support my favourite artists.

I'm sure that this thread is quite redundant now since it will only encourage more unpleasantness. But I'll still leave it to the mods to delete this topic if they need to.

But you are missing the point here. Nobody really cares whether you do filesharing or not, but TA's policy is that this is not a place to talk about it or make requests.
