alesis ineko

I've seen this around a many DJ shops for a more than reasonable price. My question is, is it even worth that money or should I hold out for a EFX500? It looks alot less promising than your typical effects box, what with the writing all over the top . . . How well does it perform (ease of use, sound quality, etc.) and should I expect to replace it along down the line soon?

I've been using my ineko for around two years and it's really not that bad considering how much it costs. I personally use the filters the most and they work really well when paired w/ my empath. Most effects like delays and reverbs are allright too.

Here's a short review i wrote a couple years back:

thanks chex, I knew I'd get a reply from you . . . I'm thinking about getting one since I'm seen them for as little as $99 brand new. I would kind of like to hold out for an EFX, it has the same beat-sync effects as the DJM series mixer, am I correct? Of course it costs four times as much . . .

pretty complete, but could be summed in what dj chex said

no problem, glad to help.

Now i need to do something more on my day off than to sit around in my room mixing records and posting on forums. It's getting really weird. Otherwise pretty soon i will begin to see things.
