XTC Songs???

What songs would u wanna hear the most while on E?

err...only did E once, with wich i toked, heard Armin - Communication wich sounded quite nice

i'd definitely listen to the tracks in my sig, +

if you want something more proggy then i'd listen to a Derek Howell set

There are two style I can trip to...

First there's the ambient\mellow breakbeat stuff. Mike Koglin's The Silence (tekara mix) is the ultimate track (though a bit old)

...and then there is the psy stuff (which I only tripped to for the first time last fri...w00t), which was mind blowing. Anything by hallucinogen will do (I can't just pick one track).

anything with really really big supersaws, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, long fuzzy breakdowns, buzzing kinda noise that makes stuff vibrate, oooooooooohhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssss


either that or stuff that is very repetitive, or stuff that is really random, errrrrrrrrrrr wait a minute

simple answer to ur question is.....get Marco V Live @ Sensation White 2003 and Johan Gielen Live @ Trance Energy 2003. both sets have great tracks to roll balls to. enjoy....i know i did

With a few years experience in playing @ E parties, I find these working best on the people:

Delerium - Silence (Dj Tiesto's in serch of Sunrise Mix)

thats the freakin truth...and it only differs if you really DON'T like the genre...for instance, for me it would be house...i enjoy it but can't listen to a 4 hour set of it in a club, starts to feel like im at a lounge then....

As far as permanent damage, probably E, but shrooms is also not good for you if you do them too much.

Shrooms is also environment/mood oriented, so you can have a bad trip, but it's really hard to have a bad experience with E.

One thing about E, it allows you to feel the music in an entirely different way. The first time I went to a club I was rolling and Gabriel and Dresden were spining. When "As the Rush Comes" came on, I got the best feeling ever. Those were the days. Drinks, Rolling, music, and Friends. The days of my life...

haha my friends used to *always* listen to the MDMA series mixed by Anthony Acid and DJ Skribble.

there weren't enough biscuits on the planet to make that sound good.

Ya rolls are physically much worse, shrooms don't really do as much physical damage as rolls could potentially do (it's not like there's a guarantee that it will do damage to your brain, you are just taking a chance - for all the ignorant pricks that think rolls put holes in your brain), but you really can't have a bad experience with rolls (mentally), you can have heat stroke, heart attack, OD etc.(if you aren't careful) but you are pretty stable as far as your emotions go. Now what you can always do is candyflip - combine the power of LSD with the magic of rolls = tripping on LSD with no bad trips, pure blissful hallucinations

Oh ya, Absolut Vodka, what I meant was that trippin usually refers to hallucinating (LCD, shrooms, mescaline) not rolling

Yeah I think e is percieved as being worse than it acutally is. I think one of the biggest dangers in doing E is that you dont know what is in the pill... whether its proper ecstasy or something else.

@ DJ Rat: here in jakarta we say trippin on E... ive actually never heard anyone refer to it as rolling here...i guess we're the only nation eh

It actually is pretty safe. The main thing that can affect your brain is the level of seratonin. If you OD you can fry your receptors, but that takes as much as 700mg, and the average dosage of MDMA in a pill is 80mg. It actually is quite safe, and is as safe as acid or shrooms, though not quite as safe as pot because some idiots either drink too little (less than two litres) and dehydrate, or drink too much (over 20 litres, in which case their brain swells up and they die). Look it up on www.erowid.org if you want to research it more to make sure it is safe.

Also, it was just moved to Schedule III by the US government, which means it is open for medical testing, another indication of how much the "side-effects" of E have been overblown by the media.
