Offended by commercials
I always have to change the channel when McDonalds or Sprite commercials come on. They are so fucking stupid, and they don't make me want to eat mcdonalds or drink sprite.
Sprite- For Jackasses?
That little 'thirst' doll makes me want to vomit. Maybe instead of sitting on that stoop talking about Sprite, he and his posse should go get jobs and learn how to speak proper english.

a properly punctuated slogan. Also, who the fuck plays basketball on rollerblades? That one is the worst. Oh shit, I'm so tired from playing basketball on rollerblades, I think I'll stuff a greasy Big Mac down my throat. What the fuck.

I hate to say this, but it seems from your post that you are quickly seperting from the mass that advertisers gear themselves toward. Another suggestion is that youre getting old. Youre moving away from the groupthat companies target and are becoming cynical, ready to turn against the medium like a former generation turned against their parents and governments...
The majority of advertising (not only in America) never has and never will make any sense (especially the fast food industries'). But hey, someone's buying it!

well they do that because usually poor and uneducated people can�t exactly afford nicer restaurants, so they cater to that class of people. it�s a typical marketing strategy.
i know i will always have a weakness for mickie d's
best french fries ever.
but yea, I noticed that the other day too. Sprite commercials especially seem to cater to African Americans. it�s weird because when I worked as a waitress at this steak house a while ago, I noticed that whenever I had black people at my table, they ALWAYS ordered sprite...well at least 90% of the time. I dunno why...

i didn't say anything about what i THOUGHT about people who ordered sprite...it was just an observation when i worked there

hehehehe...well i just usually say can i have water so i assume its from the tap, but i just drink so much crap during the week when i go out i try and drink water to be healthy hehehe...but if i'm out with friends or someone i usually get a beer or something i don't know...i suppose i only get water if i'm out with like my parents or something...
yes and as a previous server, i tend to order bottled because the tap water in restaurants is nasty and so are the glasses.

i also really hate those orbitz commercial (not orbitz the online ticket place, but the breath mints) where that dumb chick says "orbitz cleans another dirty mouth"

i cant say i watch many commercials.... since i dont have tv. though the last time i saw a mcdonalds commerical i ended up craving one of their salads (i got carls jr instead since they are better). but i think that was cause of the tasty pictures and not anything they said. i tend to ignore that shit.
Best commercial ever is the verizon wireless one about the guy who gets a job before his friends.

that is a good one, but only because it's sooo true hehehehe. i have a couple of friends that will probably never grow up hehehe
