Wav problems

Hey guys,

I've been converting some of my FL tracks to .wav files but for some reason they all sound very muddy and quiet... however, when I load the wav files to Soundforge and play only the left or the right channel then the sound is much more clearer and louder. But as soon as I play both channels at the same time the channel volume drops and the sound quality suffers. Anyone know what's the deal with that?...
