Glow's Age Update

Unfortunately, the politics around the Club World revolve around having the ability to gain a liquor license for a venue. Without a liquor license, it is impossible to open a profitable establishment. Faced with this, the management of FUR had to come to a decision. In order to secure a liquor license certain requirements had to be met. Having a venue that is strictly 21 and over was one of those requirements. Does this mean that Glow will remain a 21 and over event forever? By all means no. We at Panorama Productions are trying everything in our power to come up with a solution that will be amicable to all parties. With that said, we have secured an 18 and over night for the Paul Van Dyk �Rock the Vote� show on September 18! Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment to our loyal Glow patrons. Once we�re open for a couple of months and have demonstrated good faith to city authorities, we will have greater leverage in our negotiations over age restrictions.

This really does suck, and I am def not happy to be 19. Hope they are able to change it up in the oncoming months. Guess this means I am gonna be hittin' up Cubik for a while. At least I still have Deep Dish and PVD comming up. But damn.

which makes a LOT of sense. "rocking" the vote is -iirc- a way to get younger people to register to vote and to actually CAST their vote. How are 18-21 yr. olds, who can vote, going to attend a party aimed at them?

no, don't enjoy it. There is NOTHING good about being 16 in the US. in some other countries you'd finally be able to have some beers with your mates, but nooooo...

so true. the only good thing about being 16 in NJ is that you get your driver's permit, but that's it. Oh and you can drop out of school legally without parental consent.

thank god i turn the big 1-8 in 3 months. at least then i'll be able to see some shows in NY.
