Would like to see Peru do it because of Nobby Solano (even though he's left Newcastle).

Peru! Alot of my mates are Peruvian so why not them! Argentina's manager is crap and Brasil will probably take it but why not go for Peru! Nobby & Pizaro!

Really looking forward to this tournie, guarenteed nice soccer even if the names aren't commericial. Got to say that I am kind of pushing for Uruguay for the simple fact my dad used to live there, and they have a pride for their NT that I don't think anyone can touch, don't want to start a debate but from my experience they were very fanatical.

I hope they bring back the tournie like how it was in Paraguay. I remember seeing the Uruguay vs. Chile semi-final match, WHAT A MATCH! Any bar in the world where you see these matches with people from these countries is truly an experience.

Tell me about it, I go to this bar for some of the WC Qualifiers and it is crazy. So many fights and beer flying when they score goals reminds me of Europe . Does Uruguay have Recoba on their squad??

Either Brazil or Argentina do badly in this tournament a nd one of the smaller teams shine. Chile might perform this time. Either way its gonna be a great tournament following straight on from Euro 2004

Apparently not, I saw on another forum that people saw him clubbing in Montevideo so..... I think Uruguay like many other teams (Paraguay, Chile, Colombia ect) are using this tournie more to see how their B squads can play so they can see what their options are for back-up players in WCQ.

I must say though, just looking at the squads now, it looks more attractive than the last Copa which was honestly a joke.

Eddie N Miami, go to www.xtratime.com , they have almost all the squad lists up I think in their forums, just to make it quicker on you .

well day 1 is over
Peru almost lost their first game to Bolivia lol,at one point losing 2-0,but they got late 2nd half surge to tie.
Colombia beat an improving venezuela side 1-0,up and down game in the 1st,in the 2nd venezuela dominated pretty much but wasnt enough.Colombias goalie is the same that led Once Caldas to the libertadores cup championship keeps playing really good.

How shitty of Mexico to concede an equaliser 5min after Uruguay got a red.

Costa Rica 0-1 Paraguay
Another loss.....damn!

Brazil 1-0 Chile.

I saw 3/4 of the match, Brazil is so lousy...
So funny when Chile was awarded a penalty and it was disallowed when the taker scored. Then he retook it and blast it over
