The Red Violin

Has anyone seen the movie The Red Violin (1998), with Samuel L. Jackson and Don Mckellar. It is kinda an indy flick I think, I had not heard about it till this year. I dunno why, I am hooked on this fukin' movie. I have seen it like 7 times this year and I still love it. it's very original and different. Anyone got any insight on it?

I wouldn't call it an indy flick...

One of my favorite movies. Back when I was like 10 I played in a duet with the guy who plays all the violin pieces for the soundtrack at a summer music thing. You guys should look up some more of his work, he is absolutely amazing. His name is Joshua Bell.

I play two instruments....the skin flute and the organ (organ = penis). In otherwords, i masturbate profusely.

the movie was quite well done. personally, i believe it's score was the most moving part of the film, the music could actually tell it's own parallel story..

underated film imo, true gem.

to play the flute you need to blow with your mouth through the hole on the mouthpiece, so you play the skin flute which means...

Wow you played with Joshua Bell ?!?!?
He's good with French works - esp. Saint-Saens stuff
