Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On feat. Alison Hinds (full mix)
okay this tune is catchy as hell. haven't heard this type of tune that has class and fun to it for a while. yeah sure it is considered maybe r and bish or hip hop but these are the types of tunes i like. i swear this tune came out first in the UK. i don't know but i started seeing it on mtv. the cut version not the 5 min version with sexual lyrics.
great shit
I can't beleive you actually like that song. The guy sounds like he got kicked in the nuts.

Notice that we only said that what we thought about the song...we didn't criticise you personally.
I think that the song is a formulaic, stale, boring production that has no redeeming features. The vocals are poor, the song lacks originality and substance, and it is not exactly groundbreaking in musical terms. I have to agree with Furor Aquila - the guy sounds like he got kicked in the nuts.
Now don't get me wrong....i'm not a "nigga hater" although i do despise the increasingly prevalent culture of violent, mysogynistic, greedy and homophobic attitudes expressed through music these days (hip hop and rnb). I think it is disgusting that so many artists are producing shallow songs about money, "bling bling", "bitches", guns, violence and so forth. This definitely does not set a good example or provide a good message to the millions of young, impressionable people who listen to the music. I also don't like many RNB tunes made by the likes of Beyonce, Nelly and Usher feat, Lil John, because:
(1) I just don't like the sound of it
(2) I think it is unoriginal, soulless and chart-orientated
I for one choose not to listen to that type of music regularly, as it doesn't appeal to me musically or morally.
I didn't grow up in America, we don't have "ghettos" in Australia, most people don't aspire to become "gangstas" with bling bling, money, flash cars etc etc. Frankly, i find it difficult to relate to most rap music, as its subject matter is foreign to me.
I do like some hip hop/rap and rnb, although it usually stuff that isn't in the charts. For example, i am sick to death of the new D12 song "My band", but when my rap-loving friend played me their album with the harder, dirtier tracks that aren't "made for MTV", i really liked it. I like originality, and i appreciate good rapping and lyrical content.
I admit that i liked Eamon - F**k it because it was quirky and different, not to mention funny. Outkast - The Way You Move sounds fresh and the lyrics are great, and it is well produced as well. I also love some new Australian hip hop like Hilltop Hoods (although i doubt anyone else has heard them, apart from the Aussies here). The Roots and Jurassic 5 are also good, because there focus is on the music and lyrics, not churning out another pop hit to make another million and appease the MTV masses.
I hope i have made my point.....

Its not rnb and its not just hiphop. Its dancehall, however its not only dancehall. Its has a bit of hiphop influence, and its not a bad track to dance to.
Honestly, i thought the track was OK, but now that i hear it everywhere from radio to tv I HATE it! It's so abused.
